I'm running with an iTaste MVP battery and a Kangertech ProTank V2. Its my first setup I've put effort into and I was wondering what everyone felt about those products? I like the iTaste MVP battery because it lasts FOREVER, with the added benefit of being able to charge my devices off of it. Super convenient and comfortable in my hands. As far as my ProTank, I don't know much about the e-cig scene but I do know that I favor it over the clearomizers; its easy to wash and clean and the draw is nice. My first Ecig was given to me and it was a LavaTube with a clearomizer; to say the quality of that product was sub-par would be an overstatement. The tank sat tilted when it was screwed in all the way, and if I clicked the button to up the voltage too fast it would shut off.

My next battery, intending to get it as an alternate, is going to be a ProVari; mostly because of the customization options along with the fact that I've heard nothing but good things.

The only thing I've vaped so far is a VG/PG Pineapple flavored mix with an 18mg nic level and I've come to like it a lot. The product itelf was bought from a local store and I'm sure it was a knock off and that ill find a better product. I judt recently ordered my first flavor online, from GorillaJuice I believe; it is called Planet of the Grapes and I hear nothing but good things.

I'm also wondering if anybody can reccomend a good vendor for a pineapple flavor, and I'm moving via airplane next month and wanted to know if I can transport my liquids without any hassle.

Thanks in advance, and I look forward to my future with vaping and this forum.

mvp is a great mod. battery life is ridiculous! lol I have the protank 2 and its working great. the replaceable heads are a plus, if you don't want to rebuild you can buy a 5 pack of them for around $10 and they last you a while. the pyrex glass tank is good for citrus flavors! such as the pineapple one you like!
as for the flying concern i think its to a certain ML for the juices, maybe like under 10ml?
but under the plane i think its fine for however much (correct me if I'm wrong)

Bottle Volume Limits

Each liquid in your carry-on bags must be in a bottle or container with a maximum volume of 3.4 oz. You cannot carry on larger containers, even if they are mostly empty. There is no bottle volume limit for liquids you pack in your checked baggage.
Bottle Number Limits

In your carry-on, you may bring as many bottles or containers (of the acceptable volume, of course) as you can fit into a single quart-sized bag. You must be able to zip the bag shut, and it must also be transparent. Each passenger is allowed one such bag.

No advice on your devices tho.

Cheers

I just got my MVP today and I am loving it. For at work I use a Joyetech Twist on a lanyard tucked thru the buttons of my shirt so I can get a quick hit in when out of sight (you would understand if you knew where I worked lol). Other than that have been using Kanger EVOD batteries as a backup to my twist. I really don't plan on travelling with my MVP too much during the work week. The EVODs are less expensive and more reliable IMO cuz of all the knockoffs out there in Ego land.

For clearos I use IClear16, Kanger T3S, or EVODs. I am a firm believer in rebuildables.

I just got a Mini Protank for my Snickerdoodle Cookie from MsT's Bakery, but it's still steeping. lol

No experience with flying or airports with e-cigs.

For authentic-tasting fruit flavors, my favorite vendor is Dripeez: https://natural-eliquid.com/store/index.php

I have two Provari's, a standard and a Mini. Best and favorite devices I own. You can't go wrong with a Provari.

I won an MVP in a raffle and had been using it daily along with the Provari's for nearly 2 months. Probably was my 3rd favorite after the Provari's. Mine was the blue/grey model. The Protanks look grand on the MVP. Also used iClear 16 and 30 clearomizers. All work great.

I was never able to get a cartotank to work with my MVP, with or without the beauty ring adaptor. The vendor, where I won it, said the issue was with the Ikenvape cartos I am using in my IBTanks. I ended up donating the MVP to my ex last weekend. I offered to give it to her if she agreed to use it to stop smoking. The agreement is I get it back if she isn't successful.

Now thats another thing Ive yet to understand; what is steeping and what are the benefits?

Also, can anyone recommend any good vendors for pineapple?
You must have just missed my post above for Dripeez. My favorite is Golden Apple. I vape it alone, or I mix either some cinnamon or rum flavor with it (also available @ Dripeez). The Pineapple is very good. :)

Steeping is allowing your juice to mature to its fullest flavor potential. Not all juices require steeping. Many that are pre-mixed have already had time to steep. However, some of the more complex flavors that are not mixed until you order them often benefit by allowing them to steep 1 - 2 weeks after their arrival.

This doesn't mean that you can't vape it when you get it, only that it may not reach its fullest potential for a while. Steeping may mean allowing the juice to breath with the cap off for the first 24 hours (allows any alcohol base to evaporate). After that, just return the cap and give it a good shaking. Then allow it to sit for a period of time. You can always use a tankful while you wait to sample it's progress.

Complex flavors like a coffee, desert, or tobacco flavor benefit more from steeping. Simple flavors like a fruit often do not need steeping.

Steeping can be also explained by this anology. You know how a pot full of chili tastes right after you cook it. It's good. But it will taste even better a couple of days later after all the ingredients have had time to "steep" together or blend.

I saw someone post as explanation for steeping that I really liked.

Have you ever noticed that spaghetti is better the next day? Or Chili?
That is steeping. Letting all the flavors and ingredients mix completely. I buy new flavors all the time. But I usually don't try them for at least a week. Most places mix to order. If you need really good pre-steeped juice now. Try Vapedojo.com They have the best pre-steeped I have found so far.

Thanks man, I appreciate the explanation. That makes sense, especially since I just made some homemade spaghetti sauce the other day haha.

Ive slowly been weening my self off of cigarettes, and only occasionally smoke a ..... I was smoking a pack a day of Camel non-filters. Any ideas on any e-juice that simulates that brand of cigarettes?

I was just perusing Mt. Baker Vapor, and while Ive read generally good reviews on about the site, Ive read some customer reviews on the site itself and almost all of the flavors I were looking at complained about something or another. Watermelon, pineapple, ecto cooler and so on. Anybody want to link me to a thread that lists some popular online e-juice vendors?

Just ordered pineapple and cherry off of their site last night based on your recommendation!!

The site is GREAT, and the fact that the flavors are all natural is a double plus. I got 18mg nic with strong flavoring on both! That aside, I also ordered Planet of the Grapes and am SUPER excited as Ive been trying to find a good 'Purple Kool-Aid' flavor ever since I tried a friends!

I love my Kangertech ProTank 2 - Use it with a 900 Ego C battery and have it fitted with 2.2 oHm heating element. The unit came with a 2.5 and a 1.8 heating coil. The 2.5 worked well - but when I used the 1.8 I got a burnt taste so I decided to go in the middle and use a 2.2 coil. I like the tank for several reasons - easy cleaning - holds a ton of e-juice - easy coil changes - and it looks cool.

Im not sure if they carry just pineapple but they have some of the best tasting Kind Bud flavored ejuice I have ever had. A bit pricy but damn its good. I bought the Blueberry Kush first and yeap...OMG all the way. And I got a pack of the vapor tats they have, tribal prints.
They are vinyl and stay put not like the paper BS that most have.
their website is Zomb eJuice - Main Lab

You might be talking about my discussion of chili in the recipe contest.....

Mt baker has treated me fairly good: prices, great customer service and far fewer fails on flavors than some of the others I have tried.

For steeping, they said to shake your juices every day or so and before dispensing and putting them in your glove box or any warm place for a few days speeds the process up.

(read a thread a while back about "brassiere steeping" pocket works too if ya got the room... )

This is something I dont quite understand. The heating coil. What does a higher\lower number mean?
