Ok, just hear me out!! I have read several threads tonite about using carto/atty for dripping and sampling juices. I have read to blow out the old juice or the primer from the threaded end out to the drip tip and I have read to blow out from the drip tip and out the threaded end! What is the correct way to blow out the 510?? Please clarify for me as I have purchased some 510 Boge's and some Cisco atty's as well.

There are some tips here:

Drip, Drip, Drip…

In through the threaded end, out through the mouth piece. Think of it this way: the whole point of "blowing out an atty" is to blow as hard as you can to get any primer/liquid out. If you blow hard into the mouth piece, the air is being forced down to the little hole at the bottom connection end. The pressure might damage the coil.

High five Cat. It's no help to me personally, but will help all the new dripper. Great write up!

Go to any drug store and get one of these: Medicine Dispensers - Health at CVS pharmacy

I have been using one for a couple years for blowing out cartos, and atomizers. The threaded end of a 510 fits perfectly in the small end of the rubber fitting. Just pull back the plunger and push it down all the way with force. when you can no longer see a mist coming out of the drip end, you are done. Saves you from getting lightheaded from trying to blow them out. You do have to keep ahold of the bottom of the atty and the rubber piece to keep them from blowing off.

Ok.......I knew that my questin would get many witty comments and I actually needed a good laugh today!! I will add to the amusement....I actually ask my wife would she come bow out my atty and got a real funny look but she did it for me and it was not much that came out, anyway......!!!! As I assumed, I got both answers that they can be blown either end. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!
