I'm only five days into vaping and I kept having to continuously top off my cart after every 5-6 drags to help cut down (but still did not eliminate) the burnt taste I was getting. Yes, cut down. Ugh. I tried different juices from different suppliers, cleaning out my atty, dripping directly onto the atty then replacing the filled cart, etc. I knew there was better possible flavor out there, I had tried the Very Vanilla from Blu and it left this wonderful creamy taste in my mouth. I wanted THAT!

Finally today, it happened. I found madvapes Cheesecake 16mg, combined with doing a simple blue foam mod to a cart, and voila! FLAVOR!!!! Rich, creamy flavor, without that burnt taste to it. Oh I am such a happy vaper now!!!!!

I've ordered a few packs of cartos, should be here tomorrow. Does using a carto deminish flavor at all?

I don't think so. I usually get the same flavor when using cartomizers that I get when dripping into an atomizer or when using a cartridge. The only time I've had less flavor is when I added too much Glycerin (that I bought from Walmart). Started out adding about 33% after watching some YouTube videos where the guys were adding 50% Glycerin, then I decreased it to 25%, then 20%, then 2%, then 5%, and I'm close to settling on about 10% or so -- and that's because I'm currently using liquids with an average of 80pg/20vg.

I really like cartos....very convenient. Same flavor. And I love blue foam! That's all I use with my carts. I usually vape carts/attys at home, and cartos in the car or out and about. Sometimes I drip if I'm trying a bunch of new stuff. I like all three.... I prefer carts/attys over cartos or dripping. I find no loss of flavor, but the vapor is usually warmer with the cartos.

I tried the blue foam mod and PTB mod when I used to use attys. From my person experience, I could never get the blue foam mod to work properly. My atty always seemed to leak. The PTB mod on the other hand worked wonders. Unfortunately I always had to top off because my atty always seemed to get dry after a couple of good long drags.

I finally switched over to cartomizers and never looked back. Flavor is great and I don't have to worry about topping off as much as I did with the cart/atty combo. Another advantage to cartos is less maintenance. Since I switched over to cartos, I don't have to worry about cleaning my atty at the end of my day. I can just switch to another carto since they are dirt cheap compared to attys. If one stops working or starts giving a bad taste I just toss it out and grab another one. Personally, I use SLB branded cartos. I actually just received my order of GenJoye cartos today and will probably try them out once I switch flavors. I also ordered a a batch of the C-e2 filler less cartos which I should be receiving next week. Got to admit though, you should keep some attys on hand because they are great to test out different flavors, you can't really do that with a carto.

I'm starting to really enjoy cartos. Not for my main method - that will probably always be drip . . . maybe feed. Cartos have great flavor and take less hassle for important times like driving or relaxing and watching movies.

Since I won't be using them much, I really don't mind their expendable nature. I've got a couple that I've refilled about 6 times. I keep them pretty wet though. I'm afraid to let them run dry based on other threads I've seen.

A carto will last until it dies. Nobody knows how long it will last. I'm still using several cartos that I started using almost six weeks ago and more that I started using four weeks ago. I refill about 12 cartos every day, takes one hour for me to vape one fairly dry (with constant vaping or about 100 drags), and I'm rotating about 35 cartos currently.

How long will a carto last before its dead? Approximately how many refills, or days?

To be honest, I have yet to have a carto die on me. Well okay, maybe one LR carto, but that's only because I let it run completely dry. Anyways, I get a good 2-3 week life span on them before I toss them out because by then, I change flavors. Other than me just tossing them out because of changing flavors, none have died on me. I'm not like most people around here who rotate their hardware, I use one carto with one battery, all day, everyday. So I can surely say I use the carto within the 2-3 week span to the fullest. But as with anything in life, "Your Mileage May Vary"

WOW!!!! Thanks for the pictures! That thing is one B*& ... PV!!!!!

Thanks everyone for your responses on the cartos. I KNOW its a person by person, case by case scenario, I just wanted a general idea. I wasn't sure if a carto lasted just a day, or a week. Do you clean cartos?
