Like the title says I am looking for battery suggestions to use with the Innokin iTaste SVD. I will be ordering the mod, batteries, nitecore i4 v2 charger, wick/kanthal, and 2 or 3 Protank 2's in the next couple days. At the moment I am planning on getting two AW IMR 18490's and 2 AW IMR 18650's, but if there is a better brand of batteries that would work with the SVD I wouldn't mind paying a little extra.

So if someone could list a few good choices for the SVD I'd really appreciate it.

Oh and I doubt this is the place to post this question, but just in case...

Another thing I'm confused with is the Ekowool wicks. I will be attempting to rebuild the Protank 2 coils, and I'm curious what size wicks to use (3mm, 2mm, or 1mm)? Also should I get the hollow ekowool or the silica core? I'm sure some of this is about preference, but I'd just like some suggestions on what I should start out with...

You can't go wrong going with AW IMR batteries, especially in the 18490 size. The only competition is the Efest 18490 with 8.8 amps, while the AW 18490 has 16.8 amps.

Just don't be fooled by the high mAh rating of the Panasonic/Orbtronic NCR 18650A 3100 mAh or NCR 18650B 3400 mAh batteries. They are not a high drain battery, which your regulated mod (SVD) needs for optimal performance with VV/VW. Only use IMR batteries as they are high drain.
