juul pod burning when inserted

just bought a new juul, having this issue where it burns as soon as the pod is inserted w/o me drawing on it.

any ideas for fixes?

I'm having to insert the pod, draw, and remove the pod. Works, but .......n its annoying and i don't think i'll keep using it if its like this. hoping there is some simple solution.

Sounds like the draw sensor is stuck on. Clean the thing out to best of your ability, and replace it if the problem persists. There's a ton of poorly made cellphone videos on youtube about how to fix juul issues.

Contact juul and they will probably help if it's a newish unit. If not follow advice above and then last resort buy a new unit

Along the bottom of the battery is a serial number, real tiny but there. Go onto juul website. There is a place to enter that number for a free replacement. Little known fact. I did this and gave it to a frend at work

If you can get it replaced by all means replace it.

To be fair, I don't drink alcoholic beverages anymore but I sort of can't imagine ever spending 50 bucks on something at the gas station.

Just looking at this post headline again it reads “JUUL pod burning when inserted”. It does beg the question where it might be being inserted because some answers to that question come back “ well of course it does. Stop doing that.”
