Finally took the plunge and got a Kissbox - Jeff @ JantyUSA was very accomodating and gave 2 manual switches instead of 1 manual and 1 automatic. Just been a few days, but I am very very happy with it.

I have not seen mention of it here or elsewhere, but to me the major advantage of Janty's manual switch is that it is sealed at the top...no way for liquid to get into your pass through or battery!!!

Our little addiction is getting better and better:
* USB pass throughs and APC mobile power packs to minimize rotating batteries every few hours (and minimize number of batteries purchased/tossed).
* Sealed manual switches to eliminate gummed up pressure switches in pass throughs and batteries.

The next big improvement wanted? How about a way to consistently deliver just the right amount of vapor to the atomizer without resorting to dripping? The capillary action/gravity feed of carts is just too inconsistent.

I've had my Kissbox for three days now, and with the APC battery it worked great. Strangely, if I use the Janty batteries, I get a horrifically acrid chemical hit that burns my throat. I'm dripping Loongtootem e-liquid. With USB however, it's smooth as silk.

Just had my USB passthrough die though, I think it's that little removable battery that runs inline as a sort of voltage buffer? Not sure if I should test the passthrough by jumpering the battery case and hitting the atomizer with full USB power. 500mA isn't too much but 5 volts might be?

Hi, new to this - is the kissbox still as good even when not plugged into the usb? i want to be able to go places with my e-cig and not be stuck to my pc?

Hello, i have been smoking for 10 years and in January this year decided enough is enough and bought a electronic cigarette from 'The Electronic Cigarette Company (UK) Ltd.' White Super (10cm) E.Cig Starter Kit
but only sometimes am i happy with it. I didnt really do any research when i bought it and only got it because it looks like a real one. I find that 1 cart only lasts 2 or 3 cigs and then no smoke. Can anyone help me advise me on whats the best out there? Id love to have better vapour/smoke and a flavour but i dont want messy liquids to have to mess around with.. i did like the reviews of the janty kissbox but i dont want to be stuck on my usb charger with it - anyone able to advise what ones to go for?

Same here, bought the super 10cm from TECC as it looked like a .... Wasnt too impressed. I sold it to a workmate and bought the Totally Wicked Platinum 901 and it is miles ahead of the super. I wouldn't have been able to give up analogs on the super 10cm but it's been easy with the 901.

I too am looking at a kissbox as a second unit. Figure I can use my 901 at work etc and vape the kissbox at my PC in the evenings. Waiting for payday :)

Anyone thinking of buying a Kissbox should be aware of a few things.

Many people say that they have no luck with cartridges and have to drip with their device. If you don't mind dripping this is fine because the manual switch is sealed and won't get flooded.

Once you get used to the device you are likely to think it's great BUT not everyone gets used to them. They can be tricky to use at first and may taste funny. It took me a long time to get the technique right for consistent vapour and flavour.

Janty USA tends to give great customer service, Janty Europe can be unresponsive and slow.

Warranty covers parts for six months, except batteries which have a three month warranty.

Having had my KissBox for awhile now, I thought I would comment.
The first atomizer worked for a half a day and then was horrible.. I used the carts that were supplied and was thrilled, but then it was like a 3 week old 901... It did not last a full day.. Started getting a horrible taste from it, no vapor, throat hit at all, and was .......
Also, the switches.. The manual worked, but the auto did not... Jeff stated it was an atomizer problem and promptly replaced.. When I got the replacement, the auto worked if I constantly changed how hard I was inhaling. Forgive me for saying, but I had to act like I was suckling at a teet to get the light to stay on.. LOL I know, but it's true.. It is still this way after I have purchased new switches.
The manual switch no longer works. It produces no vapor. I need the "teet" switch in order to get any vapor.
Jeff has been great with the customer service and stated that he would replace the switches. I today bought a new atomizer and some janty juice.

The second atomizer he sent me was much better then the original and DRAINS the carts.. It seems that 1 cart lasts me a day and a half. I have boiled the atomizer twice to clean it, and every time it performs like new..

To sum up.. For the price you pay it seems like the product should function a little better and be worry free, but sadly it is not.. Just be happy that you have a great warranty and Jeff at Jantyusa replaces items quickly..

I have had my KB for a little over a week now, and will give my thoughts on it. I have nothing to compare it to, since it is my first.

It seems that to get the best results with mine, I have to keep the cart topped off. I will fill the cart to the top, add 2 drops on the atomizer, and get a really good vape for about 10 puffs. Then if I tap lightly on the side of the cart a few times I'll get 2 or 3 more good puffs. I can use the tap method 3 or 4 times, then start over with the filling up the cart and 2 drops on the atomizer. When doing this, the cart is nowhere near empty, as it only takes 2 or three drops to fill it completely, so my conclusion is that I must have a wicking problem, but the techniques above seem to work good. I have had no problems with the atomizer or batteries, my only comment would be that when starting with a full cart and wet atomizer, it hums when pressing the manual switch, and almost pushes the vape into my mouth without taking a drag. Overall it seems to be working well, but again, I have no experience with any other types of e-cigs.

Kate, do you experience the same type of thing with yours?

I guess that I considered what I am doing as dripping also. So you drip directly on the atomizer and just use a cart with no wick?

In my mind I thnkof it as I am using the cart to just drip for me when I tap on it. It seems to drop a drop onto the atomizer when I tap, relieving me of having to pull the cart off, and drip out of my bottle so often.

Dripping is putting a couple of drops of eliquid straight into the atomiser and vaping with just a blank mouthpiece. Two drops last me around five minutes or about 12 draws, similar to smoking a cig.

Many people prefer it as a better experience but some say that it shortens the lifespan of the atomiser and can flood batteries. When you have a guarantee and a spare atomiser to cover for down time then the cost doesn't go up anyway if your atomiser dies a little early and the Kissbox manual switch is sealed so there is no way for the switch or battery to get flooded.

I know. I don't get it either. The manual switches worked with the first atomizer that died. With the new atomizer, they hardly work. I asked Jeff to replace them so hopefully the new one will work.. I really prefer the manual switch and it is frustrating that they don't work. I ordered another atomizer so I will try every configuration..
