The spring along with the plastic piece comes off the bottom piece. It's a tight fit, so just work the spring off.

Just received my Blue K-100
Few days back I was picked for the K-100 giveaway on YT (see below) and received my package today a/n.
The first impressions are very good, had been vaping it since 3-4 hrs. now and it's faring excellently. I was amazed by the built quality of this device, rock solid... didn't expect it to be so robust. The machining is well done, the grooves are smooth, the switch section is fantastic - well designed and fires everytime.
I received the complete kit, as above. Out of which the batteries and the charger will be tossed (they are shamelessly useless), the cartos (3) seem to be fine (checked them - they are LR @ 1.6ohms, 35mm), but the carrying pouch is terrific. It is well made, good sized (187mm x 98mm x 54mm, at it's widest ends), has a nice suede feel to it and the color is deep, pretty deep - giving it a classy touch. This pouch shall be great to carry all my vape stuff when out-n-about.
Overall this Kamry K-100 is a nice piece of eqpt. Not a cheapo knock-off (yah, I know - "The Empire Strikes Back") and has an intrinsic flair to it. It does hold it's head by itself... no wonder they went ahead with a K-101 too!

The K100 was so good out of the box I ordered all three colors. Just now I sanded the contacts on my pewter colored one and it's a new machine. You can tape 320 grit sandpaper to a pencil on the eraser end and sand the 510 inside contact. Make sure your sand paper is flat! I took the spring and plastic ring out and used the modified pencil to do the button contact. My 1.4ohm RSST hits fantastic! I'll really have to think about breaking the bank for a high end mechanical now. ;o)
I saw that deal, and could have waited 3 days (but didn't know), but I got my k100 last night from aquavapor when it was more. I like it, tested out and popped by aga-t coil, must redo. Waiting on 2 cent fuse (just in case) and I need something for my threads, a bit rough and squeaks, button is nice, not over clicky. Tested out with 18350 charged and rested battery and it won't fire...sometimes. Wasn't sure how far to screw this down and have a tank on there meantime. I really have to press button in to get it to fire.
edit: gave up on tank, too high ohms, wasn't doing it. Switched to igo-l vape could be better, have to really work that button.

I tighten mine down fairly tight. I don't force it, but tighten till it stops, and the throw is pretty short, and easy to fire.
Thanks, that is better, but I think i got spoiled with a light touch on my spinner. I have to workout, lol.
I picked up a copper one off the classifieds, waiting for it in the mail! In the rsst coop as well, should be good times!
I thought about it, I ordered morning the 15th, and saw in the evening it was deal of the day, 5.00 less. Now it's $10.00 less than I paid as of yesterday and sold out, noticed less points also. You gotta balance it out somewhere I guess.

I seriously like my k100 so much...I wouldn't mind another. But I will wait for a better price and no rush since I nabbed a nimbus today...it's SWEET! so I balance it out somewhere also. Do need more wick though...lol
I got mine a couple of days ago, brass looking one. Sanded the firing pin, positive connection inside the tube, 510 connector, and also sanded the bottom of my phoenix v4 clone. Vaping at .8ohm 30awg kanthal with a cotton wick and its awesome! vapor production with only 70/30 pg-vg is huge. Ordered some 100%vg juice to try and make some thunder clouds lol This is my first mechanical mod btw and love it! I want a blue one also

Nice! I haven't done anything to my k100 except some vaseline for the threads, no more squeaking. Finally got it down how to hold and fire this. I really like it and wouldn't mind a blue one also.
