I'm going to get a kit, but we all know the batteries can stand to be much better.
Can anyone tell me the best chemistry's to use. I will be going sub-ohm.

It'd be wise to use IMR bats. AW & Efect types. If it's 18650 -- THESE r the best of the pack... and at best prices!

I have a serious question now, I have read that the MNKE's from avidvaper are superior. Due to the output amperage.
http://www.avidvaper.com/mnke-imr18650-3-7v-li-mn-rechargable-battery/

I will be using those, but I know I need to use a 4.2 output Li-ion charger. My question is, is a trustfire charger any good? The tr-006 does 4.2 output, but I've seem to have heard stories concerning trustFIRE...

Also, any reason I shouldn't use those MNKE's? I plan to go low, at least .4-.5-.6-.7 ohms.

I don't like my MNKE 18650's... they don't seem to hold the high output as long as the AW IMR 1600... I have a doz AW's and 2 MNKE (at $15 a pop)... i vape 6 or 7 different devices a day, all day, and I can tell the difference.
I've heard the same from a few vapers here too.
So I'm not going to suffer using super low-ohm dual coil setups with IMR's?
I'm going for that output amperage, isn't this what it's about for SLR/big clouds big air holes/mech madness?

Also, after much searching, for my price rang I'm looking at the Legacy from Puresmoker.

Any known issues with this mech mod? It looks deadly...

IMR is the way to go with super low resistance. AW IMR is the best imo.
There are some new similar Panasonics but i don't understand the different names for these or the technology too well.
All i know is that IMR AW is at least as good if not better. IMR AW1600 mah is even better than AW IMR 2000 mah. I've seen the test results.
MNKE is IMR too... but in my experience they fizzle out faster than the AW IMR 1600.

in answer about amperage, yes, you need IMR for high amperage for sure.

LEgacy is good; very good. I like the looks of the little one too... you have to get a flat top though; well you don't have to, but they come with slant top and it doesn't look as good with a RBA or RDA on top.... unfortunately it costs $25 more. I like mine alot and i only use sub 1.0 Ohms RBA/ RDA....
no issues really... good contacts, good quality.

some don't like the button bottom isn't wide and flat enough, to sit upright ....but its ok..

So I should just get a kit from them as they have aw imr's, are those tenergy's any good?

Button top or flat top with the Legacy?

hmm, got to the Legacy thread; Puresmoker member Cash is really good about answering and responding to posters...
If you want my advice, again, you can't go wrong with AW IMRs... they are button top. They are the standard, and all devices recommend them for LR resistances, unless they are selling cheap batteries.
I meant batteries sir :)

IMR is "safe chemistry" they are not "Protected" because the chem is safe... P use an outer protective coating as far as i know.

I like the gold K100. What atomizers/tanks are available that match the gold look of the K100? I don't want to use the regular cartos.
you may find some vendors with different colors if you like generic atomizers... what do you vape?
Most of the rage about these is for low resistance RBA's ... its one of few inexpensive devices that will handle super low resistances...

i just got my sort of titanium colored K100 today; looks kind of cool with my polished ss Penelope, 18350 batt, and works trick! (1.1 Ohms).
@System; I LIKE the nice wide base of the bottom button! Love the easy firing and you can put it down without it toppling.
