A friend of mine, a nurse, had a golden retriever that developed parvo. She actually gave her an IV and Gave her fluids that way. If I didn't know she was a dog, I would think she was a small horse!!!! 2 years later and she can still drag my fat .... round the house!!!

Ugh...I'm sorry to hear that! You're not catching many puppy breaks lately Hopefully they will be able to treat it effectively. I've heard that Tamiflu can be used for Parvovirus.

She's doing at least a 4 day visit at the vet. I hope she pulls through, I don't think my daughter can handle much more emotionally dog wise. I don't think I really can either.

Oh, poor pup! I hope she kicks Parvo's ...., they were able to save a pup of mine many years ago who had Parvo as a puppy, and she lived a very long life. It's highly contagious, I'm assuming your other lab is vaccinated? Sending up prayers for your sick baby.
