please excuse the dirty coffee table... I have two dogs two cats and a 4 year old
That looks aswesome, B34tn1k :) Is that mahogany? And what does that drip tip really look like? :thumb:

No worries about the coffee table, being surrounded by a great family is worth it and expected :D

I'm not sure I like it. Maybe I need to see it in action, with a smoking jacket or something.:)

Now it will always be a wide, unblinking metallic eye staring back at me, thanks to Politicallyincorrect. LOL

If it helps, maybe you can think of it as a webcam. What peace of mind, knowing that many of us are watching, keeping track of your puff count.

I've got a VTR pre-ordered from Hi-Tec Vapor. For me, the prime improvement over the MVP will be the location of the power button. I'm very happy with the MVP though.

My ideal mod: a VV Gripper with the bullet-proof solidity of an MVP. The VV Gripper is perfect for me in every way except for its frailty.

morning, bells! glad to see east of raleigh is still in the land of the living! ;)
I think it is, but can't verify first hand. Since the first week of August I've been up in NJ, tending to my Dad, who shattered a vertebra at the end of July. I'm the only kid in the family who is retired. I'm so glad that I was therefore able to move up here temporarily. It really is such a small thing to repay a little of the time Dad invested in his children. He's doing a lot better the last couple of weeks and the physical therapy he's started is doing quite a bit of good.

Dad turned 87 on Sept 6, and I gave a toast at the party we had for him downstairs here at the retirement village where he lives. The toast began: "Four score and seven years ago, our grandmother brought forth upon this continent a new man". Dad, being an ardent Civil War buff, greatly appreciated the toast. One of the guests, though, asked: "That's from the Bible, isn't it?" Sheesh.

glad to hear this! i knew you had gone up north to check on your dad but thought your stay was a short one
The original plan was for me to come to NJ for 5 days, and there was some concern that would be for the rest of Dad's life. I'm happy to report that my presence is still needed!

i remember your post when you were so happy to find your dad much better than expected. i just assumed you were heading back. great to see you extended your stay and keeping your dad company. i'm sure he thoroughly enjoys it! ;)
He's an appreciative Pop. Mom walks slowly with a cane and doesn't have the strength to provide Dad the kind of health assistance he needs or push his wheelchair. If I wasn't here Dad would have had to go to a re-hab center where his progress would be slower, the living conditions less friendly and the food much inferior.

Your Dad is so lucky to have you and the situation you are in to be able to help.

Bells you say it like its a given but a lot of people would not step up to help take care of their parents like that and for that I salute you.

It seems to me that my T3S clearos are working a lot better than my Protank. With the current batches of coil heads, the Protank starts gurgling much too easily. Don't tell me that Kanger knows what they're doing with coil heads: I've got T3S heads that will fit any Kanger clearo, T3S heads that fit only T3 clearos, Protank heads that are definitely too short and small in diameter for the Protank to use effectively, etc.

I know I've said this already, but hopefully not in this thread: I pre-ordered an Innokin VTR after buying an MVP and being very happy with it. https://www.hitecvapor.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=INNOKIN-VTR-PREORDER

The battery life on each full charge of the MVP is ridiculously good, and the thing seems solid as a rock. But the power button placement, on the broad side, is kind of awkward for my big mitts and fingers. I would think it's even more awkward for smaller hands. The placement of the VTR's power button is on the end... not as good for me as it would be if it was on the top, but it's still got to be more comfortable than on the MVP. It would be nice if the power button required less pressure than on the MVP but I'm not counting on it.

I got on the back-up list for a co-op now running for the VTR, then excused myself when Shek threatened other participants. Afterwards, the host revealed that she had already asked him to help with the co-op. I'll garandamtee ya that I'll never participate in a co-op that he's involved with in any way.

Check the heads for flavor wicks. I've gotten some genuine Kanger coil heads that didn't have the floating wicks or just one floating wick. Once I added 2 flavor wicks to the coil heads, they performed normally. I think the Kanger QC folks take naps during their shifts :D

Suspect their or a number of people with the same feelings. Was reading a battery Coop the other day where Shek spoke out in his normal offending way. At least one person dropped from the planning stating he didn't need the complications.

For my part it would't matter how big a bargain or how badly I wanted something I would pass if Shek was within smelling distance.
