... I inserted 2 brand new Samsung 25Rs, or tried to. One battery wrap grated off the side like a cheese grater!
I tried various batteries, but any two, new or old, grate and are such a tight fit, I have to use a tool to pull them out. I've tried to find reviews about this, but I seem to be the only one with this issue.

Also, my build is a .5 dual coil, but it's reading as a .3?

Anyone else experience or hear of any of these issues? Did I get a faulty one?

Yikes... That don't sound good.

Is there a Burr or a Sharp Edge that maybe is cause the Battery Wrap to get Grated?

Not that I can see or feel. The batteries are now stuck inside, whereas I was able to pull them out before!

That just Sucks!

I think before I did Anything more, I would Contact the Retailer where you got it and Tell them that there is a Problem.

Man... I know how it Feels to Wait on something New to Arrive only for there to be a Issue. Sorry to hear about this.

Thank you, I will.

I finally got the batteries out. Now, I have to wait until Monday to deal with returning it. :nah:

It does, thank you. Ironic, I didn't do a pre-order for that very reason!

Looks pretty good though. Here it is with my Odin on it.

This review says the battery problem is only with the silver ones, about the 11:00 mark. I recall a review I can't locate where they widened the battery compartment a bit by using pliers to "widen" the battery compartment from the inside.

If there are Burrs on those Vent Holes, than Roadtrip635's term of "Cheese Grater" is right on the Money

Thank you so much! This makes me feel slightly better. I was beginning to think I got the only defective one out there.

I too am having the problem with it reading only .3 no matter what atty or build i put on it. Three different atties from .4 to .7

And i would swear that i am having to crank up the watts to get the same vape at 30 watts on my sigelei 150

Anyone else having the same?

I also had the same problem where every atomizer with different builds in them gave me the same reading. Try to turn it off and back on. That seemed to work for me.
According to the Vaping Biker's review the optimum build should be around .25. Anything above would give you a weak vaping experience. He also said that a lower .17 build similarly gave him poor vape. Apparently, .25 is a sweet spot for this mod.

Doesn't seem encouraging really

Are you sure that wasn't said for the original dripbox? That one not having adjustable wattage the build would definitely make a difference just like a mechanical but with this build shouldn't matter nearly as much...

I am sure that was from his Kanger 160 review. Unfortunately.

For me, it's all about the dual battery.
Rangerrobin that is a bummer. I really like the look of the silver. I hope you are able to get this sorted out with minimal hassle. Also hoping that Kanger gets this issue squared away.
Me too! I want to exchange it for a silver. So, I will ask them to try them out until they find a good one. If no good silvers, I'll take a black.
