Ok. If I'm not choosing Kanger, what could you offer?
If you just want to try dripping, but without rebuilding, you can look for "bridgeless 510 atomizer". That's a little disposable unit that you use up until its worn out then you throw away and buy a new one. What kind of e-cig do you have right now? This will work with just about anything that has a 510 connection (which is just about everything these days, except a few proprietary connectors here and there.)
If you want to go the rebuildable route instead, there are tons of options out there. My current favorite is the Velocity Mini clone (sort of -- there is no "authentic" mini version but it is basically just a shorter version of their clone of the full-sized original) by Tobeco. I find the Velocity (or anything with a Velocity-style build deck with the side-mounted grub screws) to be easier to build on than the standard top-screw post style. I got mine from Vape NW in Washington state at a very fair price, but I don't know if they ship internationally or if you'll have to find a local vendor. You
might need (or at least benefit from) a new device to go with this, though, depending on what you have already. At 22mm in diameter, it's going to look pretty silly if you stick it on top of a 14mm eGo-style vape pen. Plus, you're probably going to want more power output than a pen-style vape can dish out. Fortunately, there are also plenty of regulated 40-, 60-, even 100-watt devices out there these days that can be had for around $50 USD, which should provide
more than enough "punch" to run the Velocity with basic or intermediate-level coils in it. The device is really just a power source, and they all do basically the same thing: set the wattage, push the button and vape. So really, just pick something with enough power to suit your needs, and that you like the look of. If I were in the market for a new mod today, I might consider the Wismec Reuleaux RX200, but I would never take it up anywhere near its full power setting. If you get the Reuleaux, you'll also need six high-drain IMR 18650 batteries (two "married" sets of three, so you can use one set while the other is recharging) and an external four-bay (unless you can find a three-bay, but I've never seen one) battery charger, since the on-board charger does not handle "balanced" charging of the three batteries very well.
Also, the Velocity is really designed for dual coils, there is no real good way to do a single coil in it with how the airflow is set up. So maybe as a first dripper it's not such a good choice (dual coils are harder because you really need to make sure they are identical to each other. Single coils are more forgiving because they just have to work well enough to get the job done, they don't have to match anything else exactly.) A lot of people seem to be really fond of the Tsunami right now, it's got a Velocity-style build deck with Kennedy-style airflow that can be set for either single- or dual-coil (Kennedy is another rebuildable dripper that people really like, but it has the old top-mounted post screws instead of the side-mounted Velocity-style posts.)
