You want to use a 510-ego for a few reasons that I've come to see with the VAMO...clearo bottoms can get STUCK in the VAMO threading causing you to unscrew the tank instead of the whole unit Another reason, if you do get some leakage, as we all do, it gives you a small catch for the juice and I also feel the extra distance from the actual unit helps.
Here's a good video for solving the leaking problems on the Evod and also rebuilding the coil. I bought 2 and gave one to a friend just as she was leaving on vacation. Mine is perfect. No problems at all and I love it. The one my friend has leaked on her and now she can't seem to get it to draw. I need to get it back from her to see what the problem is. I would definitely get more of these. It is a bit tricky to see the level of juice in it through the slit, but if I angle it so light is shining right on the slit it's easier to see. So far it's my only criticism. I'm using it on a Rider Robust at 3.7v with a 2.5ohm head.
Glad I read this! Getting a Vamo soon and would have had NO idea that I should get a 510-ego adaptor for it. Thanks! Either between this or a vapeonly bcc...probably both to be honest lol. Then eventually the revered AGA-T plus
Evod is good but too airy for me. I plug 1 hole using super glue. I also turn the rubber seal upside down to increase wicking and change the flavor wicks for firmer ones, this provides more saturated vape. I also I cut Kanger carto tube in half and stuff it over the Evod drip tip and use my own tip. Than I vape like a king.
I even prefer my Evoid to Vivi Nova, ismoka bottom coil and iclear 30... because of its amazingly clean taste, tight air and huge flavor. It pefectly fits my ego twist 650mah for my daily work. When the tank goes out of liquid, the 650 ego twist is running out of battery too. Great couple!
