Kanger Protank 2 is the worst tank i have ever used

Just picked one up, watched ton of videos...

flipped the rubber upside down...

didnt fill it over half...

checked the volts and ohms...

changed at least 4 atomizers...

This thing vapes perfect when it vapes, the other 99% of the time its a burnt taste, ive ruined 4 attys, ive wasted eliquid, id rather buy a blue. This is the worst item i have ever encountered vaping.

I'd also like to watch a YouTube video about vaping without watching some vape for ten minutes, and talk for ten minutes before getting the the demonstration. Oy very. I'm going to buy some more atomizer heads and let the dirty ones soak over night and rotate. If that doesn't work, I'm back to boge land, where its easy...

First of all even though I'm still new I've never felt the need to flip the rubber grommet over. My PT2 tries to get a lil gurgly about 2 times through a whole tank: once under half-way, the second time when it's getting down to the metal. But these aren't your problems.

I really am not trying to be rude, but something you're saying doesn't make sense to me. If you checked the volts/ohms, how are you burning through 4 attys??? It doesn't sound like it's the PT2s fault that you're getting a burnt taste. That sounds like a voltage/wattage problem via a small coil.

What size coil are you using and on what mod?

p.s. I had a coffee juice from seduce juice and a tea juice from AiV that always taste burnt to me ... could be the juice

What PV?
What voltage or wattage?
What resistance coil?

These aren't RDA's. You don't run them at 9 watts/4.5 volts and expect to get a good result. The 1.8 ohm coils can barely handle 3.2 volts before they produce a harsh vape. If you want to run high volts/watts - just because you can - this isn't the device for you.

If its only goes up to like 4.8 volts a 2.5 ohm coil shouldn't burn.

Maybe I'm way off here but I'm betting its the juice.

I had a coffee juice that always tasted burnt I went through 3 attys, the last 2 brand new, just to be sure.

Have you tried other juices with the same result?
Are you using KangerTech coils?

yes kanger tech coils, and ive tried my mocha late and my apple jax, they work in every other device but this

im in the process of cotton wicking it

sorry to hear about your experience with the pro tank. I would recommend buying a new tank. 30$ was a little bit too pricey for what you bought.


with my ego-twist I love having the vapeonly et-s. it's also slim like the battery so it looks gorgeous , and it's only 9.99 and I haven't had a burning taste out of it once

The heads have a habit of tasting like crap straight out of the package.

Try giving them a good rinse under hot water then either let them air dry or give them a few quick pulses to dry the water out of the wick.

Cut back on the volts to 3.8 and gradually work your way up to find the sweet spot. Just because the charts say something "should" be fine doesn't mean it will. Flavoring ingredients pg/vg mix play into it also.
