am I the only one who actually loves the protank?

I'm getting great flavor, its not as much as my rba but it does its job for sure.

It's always reliable, no tipping, no dry hits.

I personally don't mind the airy draw that everyone complains about. For 15$ I gotta say its well worth it.

I love mine rebuilt. If I was new or incapable of rebuilding or making adjustments to the head for preferences I'd be disappointed. None and I mean none of the 6 stock heads did bobas or gorillas 100%VG well.. Not a problem I encountered with my EVODs despite being nearly identical in head design.
Recoiled and rewicked with natural and that solved the wicking issue and tightened the draw slightly. Used EVOD insulator gasket to tighten further. Have added suggested spacer to the bottom which provides flush seal similar to the beauty ring/ thread skirt and now it's ideal.

I will be taking one of my ProTanks and sawing and drilling the metal mouthpiece for a510 drip tip connection. I've measured and there should be enough space. I like the shape but, can't stand the metal. I have a summer to do so but, can't imagine using these in the dead of winter..

My husband LOVES his protank. No modifications, but we started with the Kanger mt3 tanks, we do have some evods (which i use with mt3 coils, btw) and i plan to get a protank myself.

Hubz is a mechanic, and his protank/eGo twist fell out of his pocket at work the other day. It was run over by an F-250 and survived quite nicely. the pyrex is a little scratched but it still works perfectly!! the battery came apart, but none of the wires separated. He just put it back together. durable little tank!!!

My protank arrived today. I am in vaping NIRVANA. I just love this thing!

I have many. From 3 different vendors, and none have exhibited a problem.

When I read people having problems with these I attribute it to user error. These things do not leak, any vaper should know how to rebuild an atomizer head if the draw is too airy (or swap it out with an Evod head if they can't).

No need to play with my rbas at all, these produce plenty of taste and vapor on rebuilt cotton wicks at 1.6 to 1.8 ohms. On the stock 2.5 ohm heads if the gnurled bottom is screwed on TIGHTLY and placed on a FLAT TOP mod there is no airy draw whatsoever.

If you seem to get too airy a draw just COMPENSATE don't whine.

On my ego-C battery I just used the beauty ring that came with the tank. Not airy at all.

Last night I rewicked my head with cheesecloth. Now the draw is tighter, so I no longer have teflon tape around the air holes blocking two of them. Also, the flavor is freaking amazing! I have Unicorn Blood at 50/50 in it right now, and I have to say, for how easy it is to wick with cheese cloth, I think it should be something everyone does right out of box!

BTW, I did just that today. I received my second Protank today, I immediately rewicked the heads with cheese cloth (using 30 through coil, 36 on top) and now I just have to figure out a juice to put in it to start a rotation, but I just cant stop the unicorn blood right now! Rewicking it was super easy, the hardest part was getting the old wick out without messing up the coil. Thats only on a coil thats used and gunked up though. The new coils were a breeze. The draw is much tighter, perfect for me. Oh, and the occasional flooding issue I had once or twice over the weekend has also disappeared. No flooding, no gurgling, tighter draw, amazingly better flavor, great vapor production, no leaking.... so, pretty much every issue everyone else has reported could be solved with a pair of fine tip tweezers and a 4 dollar package of natural unbleached cheese cloth!

I just got mine today....I think it is awesome. I had to wash it right out of the box to get rid of that disgusting smell of it being in the box...but that was my only complaint. I have like 5 eVods that I loved...but they still leaked a little bit, and whenever I took the bottom off of the eVods to refill the center post that is attached to the wicks always had juice on it. When I did this with the Protank I was really surprised that the center post was completely dry. The draw it not airy for me, the eVod has a more airy draw I think. I am using it on a eVic, so it it on the base pretty nice, I haven't tried it on my eGo yet so maybe that makes a difference. I would think removing a flavor wick would make it leak a lot more, so I don't think anyone who removed a wick and then .....es about it being leaky has any right to ..... quite frankly. By removing that wick you created a hole where the liquid can get through, of course it is going to leak.

YAY ty ty ty

Here's how to do it with cotton also: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/clearomizers/377470-installing-cotton-you-kanger-t3s.html

first time i did it i did it with cheesecloth and it tasted burnt...really burnt, and I couldn't get rid of that flavor...I think that might be because I dry burned the cheesecloth one without any liquid at all and it burnt the cloth itself....so i switched to cotton and that worked great...much more of a pain in the ... to get the cotton through the coils though than the cheesecloth...actually as i type this i just filled a clearomizer with cheesecloth wick, and am letting it sit for 5 minutes before i have a go at it again...so i'll let you know...i thought it might be the type of cheesecloth i got at first but i guess i'll find out.
