Provari - very well made - pretty expensive. Doesn't have wattage - just vv. VAMO has both - lot's less money and works terrific (I have 2 and gave my third away). To me - it's a great device and they are well loved - but - you can have the same and more for less money. Maybe not as "pretty" but more functionality. My advice would be to get a VAMO - and, then a mech if you get into low resistance stuff.

I use an 18 gauge blunt, works, but still slow. Read where others have nuked the VG in the micro for a few seconds, makes it easier. I'll have to try that.

14 gauge Luer Lock blunt tips for VG or nic works well

16 or 18 gauge for PG or flavorings

VG is too thick for a 18 gauge to work well. Takes forever.

Oooops, THANKS for the correction !!!!

Have my needles confused, you're right. I use the green one, 14 gauge for VG. Pink one, 18 gauge, for flavors.

I happen to like the Protank. Its really just my preference. The Protank is definately a slow puller, and takes a bit of getting used to the draw. 10w on my evic with TW Titan RY3/4. It just keeps getting better and better. Sorry it doesn't work for some, but we are human and everyone is different, with different tastes. The most important thing is that we aren't discussing whether to smoke Marbs, or Camels, but whether to use the Protank or others on our death free devices. Hope you find something you like and as always Vape Happy:)

Have a ProTank in the mail

I'll be vaping 70%VG 30%H20...should I pull the top wick out for this blend?

Had the same question when mine arrived.

Not being sure due to the airy draw and being new to VW vaping on a new Vamo I tried it both ways. Finally put the top wick back in, upped the wattage slightly and am one happy vaper now.

I'm using a 50/50 DIY mix with a strong flavor so my results and preferences will likely be very different from yours. Best recommendation I can think of is to try it as it comes first, then try with the wick out and decide what YOU like best. Also try varying wattages/voltages both ways if you have that ability, small changes can make huge differences.

Best of luck to you :)

Shouldn't be necessary - I haven't had any issues with my 70/30 liquids on the stock coils at least. I do prefer my rebuilt coils though, but the stock ones should be just fine for that.

I just recieved mine in the mail today off the box its some pretty lady hahahah! I havent used it yet since it came at the same time as my Copper Creek House Blend no PG added, question should I take my top wick off?

Just got mine today, and its fine. Not great, I actually got my first vivi nova today and I think thats my best clearo yet, awesome vaping with it, the protanks good Ive got it filled with absinthe and 70%vg 30% water and I get the airy draw issues. No leaking yet, but Im using VG pretty much. Its not bad at all, I like it, but the draw is really loose, I feel i have to pull slower to get the amount of vape I get with my other clearos on a normal pull. Only thing I really dont like is the metal tip but what can you really do about that...maybe coat it in rubber or plastic or something? Its cool though, happy with my purchase

ok some ideas for you

on my vamo I stuck a 510 to ego adapter on it then screwed on the ego beauty collar that came with my protank. That tightened up the draw alot.

My protank came with sort of a rubber condom on the drip tip part. I cut the closed end off that and put it over the metal drip tip for a more comfy feel.

Somewhere out there
I have to say I'm coming around to the pro side now. I blocked two of the three air holes to tighten the draw. I also unraveled one of the flavor wicks and took out about half the strands. I filled up with a stronger flavor e-juice. It also seemed to break-in after 2 or 3 tankfulls. The noise has settled down too, noise seems to change depending on airflow and the angle it's held at. No leaking at all. I still like the Vivi Novas better, but the Protank is doing good now.

Still using the Protank, although my main vapes are RBA. For what it is - have no issues at all with the Protank - it does what it does - and well. No, it is not the same vape as an RBA - but we can't blame it for that as it was never intended to be so.
What it does - it does very well. Watch your liquid - if you are 100%VG - well - it's a little too thick for the device unless you remove a wick.
It's a quick and easy thing - fill it up - throw it in your pocket for later as it won't leak into it - and vape on. It's very well built and has a glass tank for you Pluid fans (I have some on the way - should be "interesting").
It will leave a spot of fluid on your center post - but generally no more than that. Vape it at 8 watts or less - and no troubles. It's not a device for the big watt folks - it will burn at high wattage.
For a clearomizer - it's pretty nice. Stupid simple - don't have to fiddle with it - just grab it, fill it, and go.

Well just got mine in the mail today and I must say maybe im just a silly neophyte but I enjoy the airy draw. Im not a huge fan of GIANT throat hits and this protank took a juice which in my carto's (cig look a like kit) tasted burnt or bitter and brought out a lot of the more mellow flavor characteristics. I would say in terms of comparison its like a hookah nice cool vapor decent flavor and easy to hit. So far I have no complaints or problems. But yes I do hit it slow and for a while to get a nice cloud but in and of itself I am really enjoying it. I do have an RBA on the way as well to tinker with so given that I hope to learn alot more about it all here soon!

I couldn't have summed it up better. Nice review.
