Right, many people take out a flavor wick, particularly those using 100% VG juice. The purpose of the flavor wick(s) is several fold. Removal of them can cause flooding, poor wicking, a reduction in flavor, and the chance to get hot steaming juice in your mouth, and can improve the vape, as you suggest. A lot has to do with your juice, so this may or may not improve the vape, and removing a flavor wick should not change the resistance on the coil. Tinkering to get the best vape, though, is something I encourage everyone to do, as their Journey progresses, and flavor wick removal is fairly common in most of the YouTube
vaping videos out there. Good luck on your post count and in VapeQuest. Welcome to the Forum. Good luck, Power up and Vape On!
