Oh god. Now I'm really regretting having ordered this mini last night. Initially I read a lot of good reviews, and the site selling it had 60 reviews and a 5/5 rating on it. I watched Busardos review and knew about the insulator issue, but didn't know until after I ordered that the "new" PEEK insulator was crap too. Now reading this thread makes me even less enthusiastic about my purchase. I thought I was going to just be able to use the OCC coils and be alright without the RBA section, but now apparently they leak around the base... ugh. This will likely be my first and last Kanger product at this rate.

I have eight Kanger subtanks mini's, none leak, have a different flavor in each.

The Kanger Nano tanks don't leak, I have three with different flavors.

Have four of the full size Kanger subtanks, no leaks.

One of my Atlantis tanks leaked once around the air hole, but the base was loose, my fault.

From the sounds of it, you had to tighten it up pretty ridiculously tight. I'd we worried about snapping something off or pulling out threads. You shouldn't need to tighten anything up more that just beyond hand tight to get a good seal.

No tools needed. In this case finger tight. It came back out without issue too so my definition of way tight may be way different then yours.

That's good to hear. I spent little time with the OCC coil and the 25mm because of the leaking. I looks like I just needed to tighten it a bit more. I just built the RBA of the mini and I like the flavor a little more. I will stick with the RBA on both. .

To be fair:
my nano leaked: user error, occ coil loosened off somehow when I assembled it. You have to watch out for that on the mini as well.
my 25mm subtank leaked: user error, base gasket on wrong.

Clean out the base! lol.

I have 3 of the 25mm subtanks and 5 mini subtanks and none of them have leaked for me, either. Very happy with these tanks. Just thought I'd add my positive experience, as well. Not everyone has the leaking problems.

I assumed you needed tools. Didnt you say you turned it a full 1/4 turn more than usual? How loose where you doing it before if you got 1/4 turn out of it by hand?

Well I'm glad to hear this isn't an additional issue now. I think I'll be fine without the RBA and just rebuild the occ coils. I'm a bit more optimistic now. Thanks

I got juice leaking from the airflow holes too. Tried almost every suggestion on this thread and still was getting juice all over my istick once in a while.

After few experiments I found that it seems related to the situation when airflow holes are closed completely or so (user error). For the past two hours I am vaping on "two holes" and no leakage whatsoever.

Glad i found this thread. As i am having the same issue myself, i have both an atlantis and a subtank mini and recently have been using the mini cause i love the flavor on it. But as its getting more and more use i notice its now leaking from the air flow ring and nowhere else. When i first got it, it wasnt doing this, now that im on my 3rd coil its leaky. I personally went with the 1.2 coils, the .5 coils i had i didnt like at all, not sure whether it was just that 1 specific coil or what but it tasted horrible and i couldn't get rid of the taste till i switched to the 1.2 so i stuck with that. Anyway, im at a loss for what to do, i try not to mess with it much when vaping cause it gets finicky quick.

So Cal

I've been running my sub tank mini now for nearly a week and zero leaks! doesn't matter if I leave mod/atty upright of on its side... no problems! I love the flavor out of this tank, ever so slightly better than my two Atlantis tanks! It does run hotter and I had to put a glass drip tip on it as the ss drip tip got too hot for my liking when vaping.

Updates:
SubTank - I received and have installed the updated O rings. My leaks have disappeared for the most part; see below.
SubTank Mini - disassembled, cleaned & dried, reassembled making sure EVERYTHING that has threads was TIGHT. Leak gone.

TEMPERATURE FLUCTUATIONS! I am in and out of the cold (-20C) all day. Temperature variations wreak havoc on my SubTank (mini seems more tolerant) which is somewhat understandable & tolerable. I say "somewhat" because my Atlantis tanks are immune!

At the end of the day, I am delighted with my stable of SubTanks & Atlantis tanks. 3 of each loaded with 6 different flavours makes me a very happy vaper.

The End

Same issue here man!!! I woke up this morning and had a puddle of ejuice laying all over my Sigelei. It's coming out of the air flow control valve. I even tried a different coil; same thing. I love this tank, but IDK. I messaged Kangertech in the US and China and got no response. Please let me know via private message if you find a fix for this issue. Thanks much.
