How do i prevent it? Do i have to clean the juice inside before i vape? Thanks

You can clean it up. I do though.

Err.. there's quite a few ways to minimise it. Get a stainless steel or nylon mesh and punch about 2 to 3 holes, use the punched out mesh and lay it, criss crossing under your drip tip.

Or, you can rebuild your coil and rebuilding wick.

Google, youtube and experiment and you'll find a way.

I'm not a pro, but just based on my experience and YouTube ventures. Haha just 2 weeks into my vaping

Most atty leaks a bit, from time to time.. Even those costing many times more. We are lucky we live at sea level. Some places above they have problems using RTA cause the altitude will play havoc with the air pressure and they need to take liquid viscosity into consideration whenever they use RTA or when they need to move around .. Probably that's why RDA are so popular in some places..

Other than goblin mini and kayfuns, the subtank mini to me is by far the best tank out there. Flavor and vapor is not about how the tanks are built, it is about how you are skillful enough to setup a good coil and you need exceptional skills in wicking to bring out the best in flavor, the ways to prevent leaks and the ways to prevent dry hits.

It is you who manipulates the powers of a tank.

The thing you hafta look out for with subtanks is whether or not it's a clone. The genuine ones hold up pretty well imo. I have 2 originals in black and one gold clone. No leaking issues whatsoever with the former 2 whether on RBA or OCC. For the clone, i dunno why but my juice becomes discoloured after 1 refill. Weird. Small leaks here and there but nothing to scream about. It's on forced retirement at the moment.

Kanger only sells genuine tanks in 3 colours. White, black (red trimmings) and stainless steel. Any other fancy colours are clones.

Perfect beginner mod! If you do your research, the tank is probably one of the best out there.

With regards to leaking, just keep your tank upright and you should be fine.
If you're gonna be using the rba and it leaks it's probably from the lack of wicking.
Do try to obtain a spare glass tank just in case you drop yours and it breaks!

P.s. My coil burns through the wick and it breaks into two :(. Firing at 18W 0.7ohm. Anyone knows how to fix this

Well, I started out on it also. For the leaking issue, if you are using the RBA, re wick it. Usually is the cotton. I re wicked it, like on YouTube, and it's not leaking anymore. Actually I rebuilt it and wicked it. And it doesn't leak anymore. So I suspect is the wicking of it.

For the spitting, either get a stainless steel wire mesh or a vinyl wire mesh, punch out a few holes and stuff it in, criss crossing at least twice, max 3, and it should work fine. Spitting will be caught in the mesh. But if it's a big one, you'll still get it. But overall, it improves by A LOT.
I use the same method. Kudos bruh. The wire mesh i used is from those vegetable severs to drain the water. I cut them into the size of the hole below the drip tip and place 2 in there. No spits. Haha.

Get the V2 base and V2 RBA, mine has practically zero issues. the V2 base has an extra inner chamber which could sorta reduce 'leaking'. My previous V1 tends to get dry hits due to its small bottom juice holes, though I never get leaking. But the V2 RBA together with the new base is just about perfect for me.

V2 rba base with the improved juice holes also has leaking issues. Even with the new occ's. Its just the subtank itself.

If the wick is wet it should not burn thru.. Also what's the ID you are coiling at? 2mm or ?
Any hotspots when you dry fire the coil?

Actually I posted the same spitting question (my spitting is on the Atlantis V2 though) and some kind soul replied with the solution. So thought I'd share the same kindness I got here. :)

Rebuild! Haha I'm finding joy in rebuilding. The satisfaction after you've solved a problem and going on to either improve or shorten the time to rebuild, is ooh la la.

You should check to see if your coil is gunked up, if not, you can just clean it up, and re wick.

Look behind you.
I've both mega one and subtank mini. Prefer d mega over subtank anytime. Using mega tank on subox mod now n kept d subox tank aside. U wana swop? Lol

Lol seriously? I find that the Mega One leaks terribly..and such a pain in the a*s to remove if you accidently screwed it too tight. At one time i had to use pliers and jeans just to unscrew; scratched the sh*t out of it. So its now sitting back in the box.

Next time use the big rubber bands. Den use the pliers on top of it to avoid scratches.
