Hi, pretty new to this and I have a top box mini battery and base unit. I am looking for a new filling top with a catomiser that will allow me to turn up the settings more than 100. My current top unit appears to leak quite a lot. I want things simple where I can buy some catomisers and quickly change when needed. Any help or advise would be welcome as not sure where to start

More than 100? Watts? Your mod can't do 100. It's limited to 75w.

Hi, I can change the wat from 7.5 to 75 (never gone over 15 personally) but there are two other settings that if I try to change the device won't work and need to keep at 100 its ni temp and ti temp. If I change these it won't work and I need to then unscrew top reduce temp back to 100 then reconnect top. I want a new top as one I have is a bit leaky but want to get one that takes a catomiser that can handle me changing settings of ni and ti temp to greater than 100. So need recommendations to what will fit the kangertech battery unit

So if I understand you correctly, you have something like this

And you are looking for a new tank , topfill and not leaking ?

A herakles plus tank or uwell crown tank seem popular. Both can be top filled if I'm not mistaken.

Exactly that. I don't like the tank, the perspex shattered I got a replacement and when you try and fill the top and unscrew the mouthpiece it's a chew on and it ends up unscrewing whole tank so need to use teeth to get off. Not ideal and just want a tank that fits the unit that allows me to utilise the units ability. I need one that comes with a fair number of spare catomisers or that are easily obtainable on the www. I not into making my own etc just want one where when it needs changing I just take it out and replace.

What you are referring to Ni and Ti are nickel and titanium. These two alloys are suitable for Temp Control vaping.

Your catomiser (or more commonly known as coil or coil head) needs to be made with Ni, ni200, or Ti for your Topbox mini to work properly if set to that setting. You can usually see that on the side of the coil itself. If it says Ni(200) or Ti, set the Topbox to that setting. Usually it is followed by a number. (0.2, 0.5, etc) indicating the resistance as well.
You can/should read up on resistance of coils but your Topbox will handle it for you for now.

Well I made 2 suggestions for tanks, look which one you like, maybe watch a YouTube or two and read up a bit on them.
There are so many tanks out there, my suggestions aren't the only ones, just happen to be popular which usually is for a reason.
The more people you ask, the more they will suggest.

For your wallet sake, if you can't make up your mind , it might be worth checking the prices for the replacement coils you will need to buy. So tanks have outrageously expensive coils which might come as a nasty surprise after buying the tank.

Final thought. Most of us have bought at least several tanks over time. Consider it learning money and almost unavoidable. Finding a good shop that allows you to test a tank might help. In the end , money is better spend on tanks than on cigs

Normally once set to another mode, setting of the previously selected do not affect it anymore ... So yes, set it like the coil says and don't worry about the previous setting.
The 200 by the way (in Ni200) does not mean set the temp to 200. It's just a description for the type of alloy used. Nickel alloys come in different grades/mixtures amongst which Ni200 but also Ni80 for example.
So makes sure to set it to Ni or Ti and the temp just play with it till the vape suites your taste. Start lowish and work your way up till its nice.

Final thing. This forum is a treasure trove of knowledge with loads of good articles to read. Also geared to new vapers.
Browse and search and read when time allows, it all seems terribly complex in the beginning but you'll soon will start to see it's not that bad at all.
In the end, it's all just a battery making a steel wire hot which causes your liquid to evaporate.

Good idea. I'll do the same as I can't get any joy from my Eleaf TC coils. I know they came 'free' but they are tragic. It's a 'protection festival' going on today.
