Kangertech MT3s problem

Hi guys! this question might have been asked quite a few times but i cant seem to find the thread.

My Mt3 has been giving me bad throat hit recently. I tried to wash it under hot water and let it dry. now it's constantly giving me bad throat pain whenever i vape. Im only using 70/30 juice with 12mg nic apple+mint flavour. I did dry burn it before as well (2 secs intervals until no smoke or smell).

I wonder if it is the wicking problem but i worry if i remove one top wick it will start to leak, which is a common problem now as i need to clean it whenever i hear gurgling.

Anyone with the same problem have any solution?

Maybe I should try to change the wick from silica to cotton.

Hotspots? Did u check ur coil? Wrong voltage? U can't take too high PG? Did u check all these possibilities?

no hotspots, checked coil, my normal 4v. its my usual juice. I think its the wick leh. but it looks clean and no smell.

Initially i thought that was the case. but i have another mt3 with cinnamon flavour juice. its smooth like baby ... skin. hahaha!

Wick may be soaking up the juice, but your coil may not be in proper contact with wicks. After some time or too much washing, some strands of the wicks fall out and hence the coils are not in full contact with wick.

Just my newbie thoughts.

i just took out one top wick and its a little bit better. Slight dry hit but better now.

Hmm. Maybe is the juice. I still remember one juice I bought [*edited] sharp TH very sour and it's call DK strawberry with 12mg. Vape for 1-2ml got sore throat and immediately threw the thing into the bin.
Try changing wick or change atty. with that same juice. If its the same maybe u have got a bad batch.

cant be bad batch. when i first got it, it was vaping heaven. its only the 4th refill then i feel the bad TH. i wash it before every refill somemore. i think its the wick. need to find [*edited] silica string liau.

ok. i solved the problem! removed one flavor wick and turn the top rubber thing upside down to allow better wicking. now it's so flavourful i'm loving it. *pat self on back*

Nope. Not leaking.
