Hi would like to ask, is it possible to have a dual coil in the rba of subtank mini? As i tried to make 2 coils but not sure how to fit them in D=

Many have built dual-coil setups on their SubTanks. Below is probably the most popular config. There are many YT videos detailing the process. Good luck!

That's the full sized.... Deck is wider. Would need a pretty small ID to go that route on the mini, the rba in question :p

The only thing i have is 1/8 drill-bit. anything smaller will be the mini screwdriver that comes with the subtank mini which i do not know the diameter lol

1/8" is almost 3.2mm. 1/16" is almost 1.6mm... Two 3.2mm coils in a STMini would be tight... Good luck!

I donno guys, I just dont get it. I built many micro coils, even rebuilt dozens upon dozens of coils for CE4/5's but when I started messing around with RDA's I started building much larger coils that would hold a lot more wicking material. I tried the micro coils in them and everytime I started chain vaping I would get a burnt taste. To me. if you have the room for a bigger coil, why build a micro coil. What is the allure to it for yall?

i guess it depends on ur definition of micro, macro.
looks like all new premade coils for subohms tanks are large diameter 2.5mm or greater(guesstimating) non contact coils.
i like my noncontact 2.5 to 3mm coils for the stmini.
are these considered macro, idk.

Dont know why but my .5 ohm OCC head started tasting badly burnt last night. I bumped it up to 30 watts to try to burn some of the crud off it and then back down to 20 watts where I normally run it but it didnt help any. Only had maybe a dozen tanks thru it so put it up and vaped on some of my other stuff last night. This morning I busted out the RBA deck from the box, filled it with some rayon and trimmed it like I would any RBA, and gave it a try. Gotta say I am very impressed with it. I am using 80/20 juice and it seems to be feeding perfectly with no problems which I was worried about after seeing how others had to modify their decks with a Dremel tool.
Now I have chained vaped it until the mouth piece got real warm and so far no dry hits. I let it sit for over 10 minutes and no gurgling. Gotta say kanger cut their own throats with making the RBA deck for I see no reason to buy anymore OCC heads.
I do have 2 more STM's coming as well as some 26 ga nickel wire. I am using the IPV 4 with my Kanger and want to try out the temp control feature on it.

I have 3 subtanks (one is the Subox tank) and I have noticed that some of the "replacement" rings are not the same size by feel. I noticed when I changed the color rings to id the flavor in the tanks that it doesn't leak, it seeps out. The base was clean and dry but there was still juice coming out. It was from the lower ring where it meets the glass. It just barely had the "pressure line" around the bottom of the glass. I cleaned it out and used some waxed thin dental floss under where the ring sets and replaced the o-ring and reset the glass. After doing this I have not had one issue with seeping.

Someone above posted that he had rust in his airflow base, I would take those back to where you got them from as stainless will not do that and those would be clones built of a different type of metal.

I'm going to try the dental floss trick! I have three of these, and they can all leak like crazy at times - makes no sense, because they didn't when I first got them!

this wont stop any juice going into the air control base, just out from under the glass. The dental floss will just increase the size of the washer, too much is almost worse than not enough so start lean.
If your airflow is getting juice, this is more than likely a wicking problem. Not enough wicking will allow the juice to go from the tank into the airflow valves as well as vaping it down to the point where there is a positive pressure inside the tank forcing juice into the RBA cap.

Nope it's definitely not a lack of wicking problem! And, as I said, these three subtanks were fine for months - it just started relatively recently. I actually think it might be to do with the afc loosening up, but I'm not sure. It leaks also with OCC coils (which I rarely use). I get both seeping and leakage, so much as I used to love these tanks I'm using them less and less!
