is this a bought coil in that one or one you wicked?
It's a prebuilt coil I wicked. According to my mod, it's about .62 ohms.

Sounds like the wire gauge is too thick, and slow to cool off.No, sorry. I didn't explain well. These are prebuilt kanthal coils from Fast Tech that I wick with KGD and use in the STM RBA.
ahhh, I was going to say.. yeah you're SoL then for any help I could give... some people like to rebuilt the ssocc's etc. I only use the RBA's, the V4 I guess.. small holes in middle and I coil my own wire, using bacon, so not that dissimilar. I was thinking about the too much air issue... have you tried just completely covering one vent and keeping the other open only a tiny bit?
I'll try that. Thank you!as for the sizzle, I find both tanks that I use the rbas in, sizzle for about 2 second after i'm done. every 5 to 8 inhales or so I take a quick closed vent primer puff... I have the bad habit of chain vaping.
I know some have changed out the driptips and gotten a better mtl vape as well.
Best it to learn how to time your draw and button finger so that you keep drawing after letting go of the button. The extra air cools the coil and that helps keep the gunk from cooking onto the coil.
yes I am... since between hubby and I we have 5 of the toptank mini's... I just didn't respond earlier because I was helping someone else. lmfao... I can help with comps too... i'm a geek, what can I say?
I'd try a simple bit of masking tape to start, or electrical tape... hmm actually ducttape would have the best seal and hold.
just remember, the coils are interchangeable between both tanks, one thing I love about the kangers and other brands that do that.
