ahhh, I was going to say.. yeah you're SoL then for any help I could give... some people like to rebuilt the ssocc's etc. I only use the RBA's, the V4 I guess.. small holes in middle and I coil my own wire, using bacon, so not that dissimilar. I was thinking about the too much air issue... have you tried just completely covering one vent and keeping the other open only a tiny bit?

For some reason, my computer is as slow as Molasses right now so bear with me please.

I think you're responding to the issue I'm having with my TTM that I posted on the TTM thread.

How would I cover only one of the TTM holes? I'll try anything!

yes I am... since between hubby and I we have 5 of the toptank mini's... I just didn't respond earlier because I was helping someone else. lmfao... I can help with comps too... i'm a geek, what can I say?

I'd try a simple bit of masking tape to start, or electrical tape... hmm actually ducttape would have the best seal and hold.

I know some have changed out the driptips and gotten a better mtl vape as well.

I did change the drip tip. It helped but it was still not good. I got confused. On the TTM, I was using the Kanger OCC 1.5 coils. On the STM, I was using the Kanger RBA with the Fast TEch prebuilt coils. I think there must be some issue with the prebuilt coils from Fas Tech in the STM. I'm going to change the coil in it and rewick. The prebuilts I got from Fast Tech are supposed to be 1.5 or so ohms, so maybe this is just a faulty coil. I'll report back with results.

Thank you very much!!

That's a very good idea. I'll try it now.

just remember, the coils are interchangeable between both tanks, one thing I love about the kangers and other brands that do that.

I love that too. I also like using the non-Nauti Aspire BVC coils in the STMs too and those are considerably less costly than the Kanger STM and TTM coils.

My first attempt with tape wasn't very successful. Then I tried sticking a toothpick in one of the holes. It wasn't very successful either. I already changed the coil on the TTM and put in a 1.5 Kanger OCC, so that's not the issue. This TTM has so much airflow, it's loud when I draw on it. This is just bizarre! I'll try one of the other TTMs I got today and see if it works any better.
