Katherine Heigl is still puffing

Let me make it very clear that this was NOT Ms. Heigl telling us "no," it was her publicist telling us that she wouldn't forward our email to Ms. Heigl. The publicist responded via her Blackberry within 9 minutes of getting her email, so I highly doubt Katherine was given the chance to read it. CASAA hasn't had the opportunity to make our case to Ms. Heigl yet, so there is no way to know if she'll get involved further or not.

The SmokeStik affiliate on ECF believes that Ms. Heigl is doing more than enough by being public with her e-cig, so I'm not sure if SmokeStik is even aware of all the work CASAA is doing so SmokeStik can even keep selling their product legally or without conducting expensive and time-consuming drug trials and so their customers can keep the pleasant flavors, effective nicotine strengths and using their e-cigs indoors.

Too bad she doesn't want to get involved- maybe she doesn't understand that her ability to use them legally may be in the balance? She might be more willing if she knew she could make a difference? Or maybe her spokesperson just made the decision without even consulting with her.
