So I've just received my Kayfun 4 today and my oh my is she a tough bird juice controls ring was completely jammed and required quite a lot of force to remove and the top but that releases the tank is completely stuck on there so I am unable to remove the middle tank section does anyone have any tips how to get it off besides plyers I've already tried that and and I don't want to shred the threading on the tank

Most of the time, some type of rubber grips (for opening jars and such) will fix most of the jammed threads I ran into.

When it's jammed badly and you can't even fix it with pliers, the best method I know of is to freeze part of it, and heat up the rest.

I am not sure how one would go about it if o-rings are still installed. But it works wonders when it's just metal threads. For instance, when the chimney gets jammed, I would put it in the freezer, then dip half of the chimney in hot water, the expansion/contraction of the metal normally sorts it out easily.

Hopefully someone can confirm if it's safe to do this with o-rings installed. G'luck.

First, try only the freezer, but not for long. And force. Hands, rubber with pliers. Heat can damage the o-rings. Afterwards look up the Kayfun V4 thread and read the first post. Orax explains maintenance and some issues. At assembly use beeswax or smth on the o-rings and threads. Not a lot. Helps a lot to disassemble.
