I don't fill via the fill port on the bottom because of fear of loosing that tiny screw.
I always top fill and wheever I do,I get a fair sized blob of juice come out the top where the driptip is and it'll seep for a bit at the air hole (it'll do that for about 20 or so minutes).Other than that the thing works great.
