Kayfun mini chimney threads problem

I got a kayfun mini over christmas & I really like it alot. I have noticed today though that the threads on the inner chamber chimney are really sort of crunchy & not smooth at all. So I looked closely at them & they don't look smooth either like they did when I first got it.

I have not done anything inappropriate with the device & haven't even unscrewed it very many times really once I got my wicking sorted out. It's been like once a day or maybe 2 days.

Anyway, I'm just wondering if this is normal & if there's anything I can do to improve the problem.

Hi there, I have the same problem with the Kayfun Lite Plus but not on the chimney, I have the unsmooth threading with the lower part of the tube - the part that screws first on the deck. I guess it's not a big deal, especially with the device working so well.

It makes me nervous though since it's harder to screw & unscrew now than it was.

somewhere you may have started to cross thred the tube somehow. i would take it apart and clean the threads on the mod and the tubes with a tooth brush under water real real good and see if that doesnt help, when you put them back together use just a tiny drop of juice to lubricate them

Thrasher is wise. I've never had any threading problems with my KFL. Now the Russian 91% I got was kinda scratchey from the start.
