I've seen some post where people have taken dremle tools or hand files and filed the ring down to accept a kayfun. You have to file it down on the inside too so the threads will lone straight up. I'd like to do it myself but I've only had my vtr a week and don't want to go cutting and grinding on it yet

I've had mine long enough to do it too, but worry how odd it would be when swapping in a Kanger PT2 after making it bigger. That's my normal out and about or on the bike setup. Think I may just hold off or if I find I'm always using my Kayfun, get another VTR just for it. I just got my first Ehpro Kayfun Lite Plus, but I expect I will like it as much as everyone else, and it will quickly multiply and become my "go-to" topper instead of PT2's with rebuilt heads and Aero bases.

I drip occasionally in the house, but then I almost always catch myself getting my helios & nemesis combo out, with a 0.14ohm dual parallel coil build and blowing clouds, then the wife yells at me cause I'm fogging out the room I'm in

I do see flavor jumps from protank -> kayfun -> drippers. I just don't ever see myself going back to protanks, evods or t3's again... the kayfun and kgd has done right by me. (taifun and aqua are pretty good too).

Given I rebuild my pt heads, I don't get as much flavor drop as stick, but still noticeable. Just wish my VTR would hold the Kayfun without modding it. I like the protection the VTR offers when I'm on the go. It's also nice I really only have to worry the drip tip, rather than a tank breaking off in my pocket.

I'm told a dremel and a grinding wheel will resolve your vtr problem. Go slow, you should be fine. Cutting it would be quicker but less pretty. Thinning the ring will take longer but should be "safer". If your protanks wobble afterwards, you can always put an o ring or some sticky felt on the tank to take up the slack. :)

I've had my EHPro kfl plus for a couple weeks and my only complaint is that it tends to gunk up a coil slightly faster than others. Other than that, its a dream to vape.

And no, after Kayfun and drippers I would never think of a pro tank again... even got my wife hooked on them for her first rba
