Kayfun stuck on Stingray

I have a kraken clone on my stingray and since Im going to be traveling this week, I figured I'd pick up a kayfun yesterday so I don't have to worry about keeping it upright while on the plane. (Krakens will leak if left sideways). So I went to the vape shop, bought one, and took their offer to set it up for me, cool. They set it up, filled it up, set the air mixture screw, and put it on the stingray to test it out. It worked great all day! Last night I went to check and refill the ejuice which is filled from the bottom by removing a screw, but couldn't remove the atty. It does loosen fine, but only turns about an 1/4" inch or so then stops abruptly like there is a metel stopper. Bummer! What i am thinking is that when they either filled it or adjusted the air flow (both screw adjustments are on the bottom next to the 510 pin) they didnt screw it inward enough or maybe it may have unscrewed slightly, just enough to catch on the battery vents on the top cap of Stingray cap(the screws are upside down when atty is attached to mod).
What in the world do i do now? The Stingray cap doesn't come apart as far as I can tell, so I can screw the screw in a little so I can remove the Kayfun. Im leaving tomorrow night for a weeks vacation out of the country and didnt want to just have one vaping mod (my other is a "Seven 22" with a Nautilus tank).
Any tips from you veterans?

but from where the airhole lines up with one of the stingray rivet things? not sure what to call, the airflow screw seems to just happen to be that close to that spot. ...

thinking about vice grips. i've been using rubber and an allen key in the airhole to no avail. my fingers are raw

Its the screw backing out due to being loose and vibrating in your pocket/hand/car/being set down.. Turn the mod over, remove drip tip, and tap the KF on the table lightly.. it should eventually work its way back in.

You could also remove the tank and chimney and work at the screw with a tiny screwdriver from the top (in the deck)
