Hmmm... .8 really shouldn't be harsh. The juice you use also comes into play, to high nicotine lvl or too high of a pg percentage. I used drippers with around .2 builds for close to 2 years and when I started using tanks I had the problem of wicking too tight. Which could make it a little harsh but mainly just a bad flavor.
Well just built a 8 wrap single coil which is not bad so i may just do a 8 wrap double coil and see. Interested to see how it works out. Nic level is 12mg. Higher vg to pg.

I use 3mg in my tanks and even lower in drippers but that's just what I like idk if 12 would make it harsh. I usually do 10 wrap 26g single coils, and 2 10wrap 28g for duals. The inline I did just like the video.

I have a dripper too and that's 0 mg as it's all i can handle lol ill try 8 wraps. That should be fine i guess. But I'm limited to space with incline coils in the k4!

Yeah I would maybe try 6mg. Hopefully you figure it out because it's a great vape. I've been using ni200 the last couple days but I might throw another incline on here today.

Pretty basic. 10/9 wraps of 26g on a 2.4mm driver. Came out to 1.3Ω. First time messing with 26g in a Kayfun. I always use 28g.

Not fan of warm vapes! But looks good!
Need to get my dna30VS converted to dna40. Got the board so just waiting for some free time.
It working flawless?

Yeah, Im loving the TP so far, im having to get used to spacing my coils but it's wonderful. The vape tends to be cooler with ni200 so I tried this dual to get a warmer vape. It's vaping beautifully but my k4 is getting warmer than I've eVer felt it get, which is worrying me a little.

Hmm i see what you mean. Well my dna40 should be in soon. Could you recommend me a good setup? Have no idea as it's all sub ohm! Got 28gauge cotton version believe it's annealed or tempered. I can't remember lol
Any suggestions please?

Do you mean a good build for TP? At first I would just recommend a simple spaced ni200 8wrap build, rip trippers shows a good technique to get the coils spaced properly. Also maybe a dual coil on a dripper. Just make sure you let your atty set for awhile and become room temp, it's really important because ni200 changes it's resistance depending on it's temp.

I don't get much flavor in my v4 clone

Use the next size up drill bit to build your coil.
I went from my standard Kayfun Lite build with a 3/32" drill bit, to a 7/64" drill bit, and the flavor exploded.
If you do that, knock your wraps down by 1-3 in order to stay in the same ohms range...I went from 8/9 to 6/7.

If that doesn't work, try tightening the draw a bit...that will force more juice into the wick. Too much air doesn't make a good vacuum for the juice to wick into the vape chamber.

If all of that fails, grab yourself an authentic at http://www.intaste.de/en/svoemesto-kayfun-v4.html...

My experience with clones and especially cloned tanks is that the machine oil causes the flavor to be muted. I have a kayfun lite cLone that I have thoroughly cleaned with every method available and though there is no machine taste the flavor is just horribly muted. Im sure there is a way to fix that but I never could get it right.
Also, if your wick is too tight you won't get good flavor.

First ni200 build, 28g 12 wraps, @ .15 , I have the temp at 400f at 20w. So far working great, it's a different kind of vape, you definitely get better vapor production the flavor does seem clearer if that makes since, still have a lot of experimenting to do but so far im impressed. I love this Vapor Flask!

I don't have any build pix of my KF4 yet (will post them here when I do) but I was having a helluva time wicking 28g nickel without destroying the coil. I'm now using 30g twisted in all of my TP built devices. Here's an image of my Erlkonigin and I build my KF4 exactly the same.

Are you using rayon? I don't have any trouble at all with Japanese cotton. I use a pretty large ID, between 2.8mm and 3mm, so I use two pieces of cotton then I twist the two end together tightly and it slides right in. In my experience if the wick is even just a little too tight I won't get the flavor I want so I've got it down to a science now. I take one pad of cotton, i rip the two outside layers off then cut two strips off.

I don't want to rewick my build yet so that's as far as I want to go. I hope that helps you, I really have no problems at all building or wicking with ni200. If your using rayon than that's a different story, I prefer Japanese cotton but I do use a similar method for rayon, it is a little bit harder because you want rayon tighter than cotton because it doesn't expand like cotton.

Yeah, I was using rayon. I tried KGD and it was definitely easier to wick with when I was using single strand coils. I just prefer rayon but I'll give your suggestion a try. Thanks!

I think the orings are ruined when machine oild gets on them, just use fresh orings.
