I currently use a Terminator as my out and about tank. The quality of vape is very good with flavor and density of vapor quite high. The density of vapor coats my mouth with what I can only describe as a “thick layer of juice” so I’m very pleased with how it works.

In comparison, I also vape on several A7’s while at home. The flavor and density is decent but certainly not as good as the Terminator. There’s quite a noticeable difference to me... especially in the density, (or lack thereof).

When I study the Kayfun’s build, it basically operates the same as an A7… ie, top coil with wick sucking up juice. And, if I owned a Kayfun, it’s very likely I would build the wick/coil the same way I build my A7’s.

To get to the point, I’m intrigued by all the reviews of the Kayfun. I also like the looks of the Kayfun Lite very much. However, I’m curious if the cost of the Kayfun is justified and whether or not it’ll vape like nothing more than an A7 in a tank. Given the cost, I guess I’m just a bit worried it can’t surpass or even match the Terminator… and if so, then why spend that much money?

Anyone vape on all three of them… Kayfun, A7, Terminator? Can you give me some feedback on what you think as far as vapor quality goes?

Just so you know, I don’t vape SLR. All my setups run between 1.5 to 1.8 ohms on Kicked mechs at about 9.1 watts.

TIA!!!

To preface, I have 2 Term C V2s, 1 Kayfun 3.1, 3 Kayfun Lites. While the Term is a good entry point device, the Kayfun Lite is the better delivery device in every way.

The K Lite can be had from inTaste for some $97.00 delivered. They are back in stock, as of this posting.

Thanks Andy! I sort of expected all opinions to be very subjective but thought I would put it out there anyways.

Yes, I did see that InTaste had them in stock and almost pulled the trigger until I read in the Kayfun Lite thread that the previous shipment was being held up in Customs... so I backed out. Did you happen to buy yours from InTaste? If so, how long did it take to get to you and did you end up paying any duties on them, beyond what was paid to InTaste? I guess some far-fetched questions here if you didn't buy them from InTaste though.

I purchased 2 K Lites during the first initial offering on a Saturday morning. I had them in hand in 4 working days. I believe shipping was some 12 euros. When I had logged in, the price dropped, as the VAT charge was deleted.

I have since ordered another one from Vaperev. It cost a bit more, but inTaste had not listed nor notified me until this morning of availability.

I trust that inTaste has resolved their issue with the German customs. If I recall properly, they had no customs issues until their 3rd shipment.

Thanks for the info... very helpful! Unfortunately, InTaste is now out of stock, as is VapeRev. Oh well, I guess I'll just catch it the next go round.

i know with the k's i walk around tasting juice for a while it seems and makes me want to chain vape lol i agree SM nailed it with the k series. i love dripping but nothing so far comes close to the gooey vapor that pours out of these things. many say the only thing close or better is the taifun.

Several have tried the dream bt804 first to make sure they like that sort of vape, and it's not a bad idea. The only niggle I have with mine is pluging the mouth piece hole to refill. Actually though, if you're one of the few that doesn't like the kayfun, you can probably get your money back easy enough.

Also, the taifun has been getting some good reviews and might be worth checking out.

I've been dripping on IGO-L's for some time and now the A7's. The A7's outperform the IGO-L's by far for flavor and vapor quality, but as noted, they're no where near the Term in density for me. The Term gives me that same "juice while walking around feeling" too. I was just curious how much better the K's are as the design/function is quite similar to the A7's. I don't know or can't see how the K's could be so much better other than being a tank system. Then again, I don't' know why the Terms are better than the A7's for me either. I guess I'll just have to find out on a personal basis! :)

Yes, I have investigated the BT804's quite extensively. Many have given rave reviews on it, but somehow I just don't like the way they have it built. I can't understand why they didn't just go with screws instead of pins. Plus, the SS version is difficult to find it seems and I don't wish to deal with chrome peeling off in who knows how much time.

When I looked at the Taifun, it reminded me of a Protank in an expensive body! I think I prefer the Kayfun setup more anyways.

I guess it remains to be seen how I'll like the Kayfun, but as you say, I can always sell it if I don't. That's a good thing!

Thanks guys!

By the way, an interesting thing is that the A7 guts will actually screw into the Term base. With a little hacking, I'm sure someone could mod whatever's and create a pseudo Kayfun! Might be an interesting project.
