So I decided that it was time to take a crack at DIY. Ordered the basics (NIC, VG, some sucralose and menthol) along with some odds and ends, but when it came to the flavors, I just wanted to keep it simple. I am a fan of NET so I did some research and ended up ordering 2 flavors from myvapejuice. I decided after reading countless threads about DIY liquids tasting horrible and it seemed to me that there was always just too much going on as far as ingredients were concerned.
So I am wondering how many others have found that simpler is better when it comes to DIY, or am I just setting myself up for a miserable first experience?

miserable is kind of harsh. I mix pg, vg with 100 mg nic down to 12 mg, I figure 10ml of juice costs about 50 cents. Nothing has come out really bad, some are flavorless, so I give them away. Someone will like them. It is a great learning experience if you keep good notes. some of my favorites are single flavor. I still cannot get enough of FA white peach or white grape.
