i was paying $5 for a pack of cloves and a pack is only 12 to a pack :-x
didn't bother me as much when a pack would last me a week...
but when I got hurt and started smoking a pack a day or almost 2 packs a day....
it was time to find something else cheaper....hence my journey into vaping...now just to still perfect my diy clove and all will be good :D

i use a mix of clove oil and clove flavoring....it's just when using oil gives funky perfume taste so trying to find that happy balance where I get the strong taste and tingly of using the oil but dulling the perfumey taste using the clove and other flavorings.
lol it's funny you'd think just using clove would be all that you needed but there's actually more flavors in a clove then just clove...i've almost got it down...my last batch was pretty dang close...

The true savings in my opinion are not having to worry too much about adversely affecting your health (oral, respiratory, risks to other ailments) and the fortune one will save by not having to under go treatment. Also, money spent on masking the stink (cologne, perfume, gum, etc.) adds up pretty quickly.

Something I always tell people when they ask me about the savings when you switch to vaping over analogs.

I'm jealous of you lucky people who live in areas where cigarettes are $10+ per pack. You break even way faster than us $5 guys.

But imagine all the money we've wasted so far.
I don't want to think about the times id run out of cigarettes when I was drunk and just bought them overpriced at a gas station. :shoots self:

For better or worse I still live like a college student so I've saved a ton. I think a big problem is that it's easy to read about the next best thing and you see everyone posting vapeporn so you go buy it too. My formula for savings: buy a few decent rigs that vape nice and keep you off the analogs and keep enough juice on hand to last a few weeks. No need to horde for the apocalypse because ejuice won't save you.

I think I may slow down soon depending on what fasttech gets in. I did start to slow down then saw a k100 at fasttech, then they got the kts flattop in and saw a couple nice looking rdas.

Damn you for mentioning FastTech!!!!!...I had never heard of them till you mentioned them....naturally I had to investigate....I'm DOOMED!!

I'd be interested in a banner as well. I'm still smoking analogs while waiting for my first shipment, trolling through these forums has encouraged my to make 3 separate purchases, 2 ego twists charger and some clearos, 1 vamo charger protank and extra batterys, and an itaste mvp charger and vivi nova, various juices with each purchase, so I'm quite in the red atm but I'm hoping once my first shipment arrives (today or tomorrow) I will be off the analogs for good and start moving towards a savings at one point.

Knowing myself though I doubt it will ever be in the green unless I find the perfect APV, I'm waitlisted on the DNA20 NES mod which I hope will be the thing I'm looking for but who knows

So I added a money saved banner to my sig and right below it the money I've spent so far on vaping.I have a text document to keep track of my money spent and will update as i make purchases. With what will be arriving tomorrow,I shouldn't HAVE to make another vaping purchase for well over a month.I figure if I do this it will deter me from going crazy with the vaping supplies and new mods and tanks and such.Should be interesting to keep up with the TRUE savings over analogs.Must.....resist......urge.....to......buy......ProVari...lol

Heh. Okay but how are you going to factor in savings on your health over the long term?

Hey, cancer is expensive...

After seeing repeated posts about fasttech I decided to finally see what all the hype was about and that was the end of slowing down so be careful if you do check it out lol
Too late.....I'm doomed...lol...thinking about dropping the card on the K100 and a RDA...lol

I have a app on my phone called vapemate. It lets me put in all of my purchases & does the math based on how much I spent on ciggys each week. I was afraid to add it all up at first.

iPhone apps ivapenow and vapemate, do this. I think there are a few more out there too, and if iPhone has them I imagine they have them for other phones as well

These are iPhone/Pad only. Google Play has some for us poor Android users. The Vape app not only tracks your expenses but also has an E-Juice calculator, place to keep you recipes & tracks various achievements.

VAPE ON !!!! :vapor:

This is something my friends and I have discussed. I don't mind being "in the hole" when it comes to this as I no longer smell like smoke, I can taste, smell and breathe better and, dammit, there's just too much cool stuff out there for sale ;)

I definitely AGREE!!
