Hi All

I seem to get less vapour / throat hit when connecting my Dura C to the Kensington using a manual passthrough than I do when using the manual batteries.

Anyone else experience this?

I don't own a passthru device, but I've read people complaining that the 510 passthrus' aren't as strong... I'm curious of the answer to this question myself.

@gagdetmonster, do you own a 901/801 passthru? if so maybe you can compare the level of vapor production with your 510 passthru.

The Kissbox USB pass-through is a pseudo-pass-through; probably the same with the Dura C pass-through. The in-line battery is supplying power to the atomizer, not the voltage from the USB port. The USB is only keeping the in-line battery charged. So, the 5volts coming from the Kensington PPP is not getting through to your Durac C, just the 3.7v or so from the in-line battery.

Darth, in your case, you might be using a USB port with low output. A perfect USB port would put out 5v, but that is not always true. Try your pass-through on other USB ports on other systems.

Finding the same thing with my passthrough for the 901 - Mine does not have the inline battery - in the other thread, i mentioned I may have a bad pass through but since trying another one, I see the same thing...

I'm not. I just got my 510 kit and passthrough 2 days ago and everything has been primo. My passie hits better with the Kensington than with the batteries, just like with my other models. I've been quite pleased. Maybe it's the battery in the manual part?
