I picked up the Lenmar PPU2100 batt pack yesterday at ratshack for 25 bucks yesterday, waiting for my 901 passthrough to get here this weekend. The cool thing on this one is the expanding/contracting usb cord and it's got a rubberized casing, a lil smaller than an ipod touch, but the specs for input/output look to be the same as the Kensington.
One month today analog free after 28 years of 30 smoking sticks a day-WOOHOO!!

This Kensington device rocks. I was thinking about carrying it, but I was fearing that the movement would destory my USB pass-through... (I'm not even that worried that I'd bee looking like I'm sucking something from my ipod or what not. ;))

If they actually improve the durability of USB pass-through - this device is only battery you might need ever. No extra batteries - just usb pass-throughs and some atomizers.

Well, I love the APC although I haven't had it 3 weeks yet. I get amazing power, it stays charged all day, and it saves the batteries by going to sleep after 10 minutes if I stop using it. And, as soon as I press the button it goes right on. I got it for $25 on eBay, though. . . a different seller has one left for more than I paid, but less than the Kensington: APC USB 10wMobile Power Pack for iPhone3G Ipod psp etc - eBay (item 290308574421 end time Apr-14-09 09:47:20 PDT) for a pretty good price. If mine breaks, I'll get a Kensington, but so far, I'm really happy with the APC.

I picked up the Kensington at Best Buy today for $39.99 after reading about it here and I have to say I am loving it. It was so nice to go the whole evening without having to change out batteries. I didn't mind being tethered either. I'll save my batteries for when I'm out and about but will probably carry this with me as a back-up. Thanks to everyone who posted about this.
