Kgo is based off the ego style. The Kgo has normally a 1100 mah battery and a little higher voltage. Normal ego batteries are only 650 mah. The kgo battery being larger only in length (not in diameter). The higher voltage in the Kgo will allow more wattage and really helps when you want to use low resistant cartomizers as the normal ego can barely handle them well. The kgo allows the use of cartos/tanks/attys that are designed to fit only the ego without any special adapter.

The Kgo is a really good for beginners. Very easy to use but it has enough under the hood for even more experience users. My wife has one and several of my friends have one and they love it. I still have one but I only use it occasionally in flavor of my Provari. The Provari in some situations can be too clunky and too expensive to have with me. The Kgo I can take anywhere.

I think GhosT is right. I also looked at the LEO Pro. I liked that it had a lid that made it look like a pen. The e power takes regular batteries which is a big +++ in the long run.
If I remember correctly tge Leo does not have 510 threading so if you want something with 510 don't get the Leo.

Good explanation. If you want warmer, more like the real thing, vapor and longer battery life, but in the same approximate size and cost, the Kgo is the way to go between those two. If you want all of that plus much more cost effective batteries, then the E-Power 510 is the best option.

My vote goes to the Kgo also as this is what I use. One feature I like with the Kgo is the 5 click on/off, that is if you don't want it to fire you click the button 5 times within 2 seconds and you don't accidentally drain the battery.
I believe the Riva has 3 click, I don't know about the Ego.

I think that started with the ego. I may be wrong though.

Good advice here from all responses. I have both kgo and ego batteries, all have 5-click on/off. Kgo and ego batteries are essentially the same thing. I believe Kgos come in one length (more length = longer life between charges) - 1100mah. Egos are available in several lengths - 650mah, 900mah, 1000 or 1100mah. The kgos do put out a little higher voltage.

I stand corrected, I see some vendors now have the kgos also in 650mah (shorter length). But the 1100s are the way to go.
Darkcityvapor.com has a great deal on kgo 1100 kits for $44.

The joye ego is lower voltage but a consistent vape and battery output over time. Riva/KGO hotter vape but shorter charge life and consistent reduction in voltage over time.

PI have the Ego C tank system. Can I use any of these other batteries or should I stick with the Ego batteries that came with the starter kit?

The Ego uses the 510 standard thread so almost any 510 threaded atty, cart etc will fit the ego. Going the other way the Ego c system has the same 510 thread connection but it has a skirt round it which means it wont fit on other 510 threaded batteries without an adaptor, (although the kgo and the riva use the same skirted connection i believe so they should be interchangeable)
