When a button gets hot in a negative ground mod, its usually because the atomizer/rba is shorting out.

Just to update my ticking issue:

I have received no response from Evolv. A little disappointed not to hear from them in a week but I'm fairly certain that everything is ok.

I just have to remove the kick from my Roller when I'm done vaping with it.

Once my ELA arrives it will have a permanent home anyway.

Hi Michael,
The buzzing is normal. In top button mods the Kick2 is checking 50 times a second for a button press. This sounds like a lot but it actually requires very little power from your battery. Typically, once you've put the mod back together, you won't hear it.

Thanks,
Brandon

response i got from them when i asked the same question. i just unscrew it a bit so the battery sits in the bottom and the kick stays in the top.

on another note i got my simplicity kick ring and it works great. it is huge when i put it on the 18650 with a kayfun topped with a tanbur t-tip lol.

The atomizer (Iatty) is working properly without kick2 inside.
Atomiser resistance is 1ohm with 32awg nichrome.I cant think somethin else except kick2 is fault out of the box!

Edit: Parts that gets hot...engraved tube,fire button,battery

It could just be excessive resitance, that too will build up heat. I'd recommend trying the Kick in another mod (preferably a non telescoping mod, telescoping mods, by design, have more electrical junctions for the electricity pass through creating more resistance).

Remember the Crown?
Look what Artisan vaping is coming out with now: The SuperMax is almost here! | artisanvaping.com .......

Watts Adjustment: 5W to 70W (steps vary depending on the wattage setting) Voltage Adjustment: 3V to 6V in 0.1V steps (maximum 96 Watts power output)

What is a vapor going to do with all that power....seems a bit excessive IMO
I wonder if Artisan ever worked out the bugs that the Crown had with their new electronics?

Forcedfuel50 feel free to remove this post as it is not a SuperT product....I just had to post due to its outrageous advertised wattage....

I actually received a e-mail conformation for one....they had a cancelation and offered me the spot? I almost bought it but if there ever was a problem with it, its a hassel to ship it to Canada... One the Crowns I send back got lost in Canadian Customs...Artisan still sent me a replacement (good company) but I don't know if they would do that with a $160.00 mod incase of loss?
