Kicking A Reo Grand

I just kicked my 18650 REO woodville with a wire. I tried it with my grand and the problem was the wire wasn't thick enough. I found some thicker wire and it works great.

What gauge wire worked on the Grand? Thanks, and did you run the wire the same way as on your woody?

I used solid 22 gauge wire on my grand, the wire goes along the right corner opposite of the bottle. As of yet, I had no trouble, except maybe a wire that cut after too much abuse.
