Nope. Installed the prog. Or I'm really missing something. Hate it. It's like sharing your life with a 3rd party. Yes you can disable some things but if you disable trak itself... errors up the ying yang. It ties itself into other (most!) progs so if you disable it... sux bein you.
Wow I didn't realize that. Ive never had a problem other then I didn't like using Watchlist as a place to store your movies and tv, It didn't work right for me but I like the way it keeps track of the movies you watched cause sometimes I can't remember. Are you using Krypton? I would but if I did I would lose the support I've got. They said when they can get it to run as smooth as 16.1 with the addons they have we will be updating. I'm sure they have to come up with a new build which is their own but I know they are working on it. One of the reasons they came out with the SS1 because it had a processor that would handle Android 5.1 so when they wanted to go to Krypton they could the previous boxes have 4 something.
All of the addons my gf uses on kodi have already updated to Krypton, the only problem I have is the UI isn't good for android boxes
Yeah ofc. There are old versions in all the repo's and most have version specific sections going back to helix.
But all of the updates will be for Krypton now. If you have 16, your addons will automatically update to the last version available for Jarvis.
Sounds like Kay is having a hell of a time getting her box to setup. I haven't talked to her but sounds like she doesn't have the right passwork to go the WiFi route. Ethernet would take care of that but she could get the correct one from her computer.
Tell her to get on a computer that's connected to the network already; then right click wifi signal bar on sys tray/open network & sharing center/click on your local network where it says your SSID/click wireless prperties/security tab/Then check the box under network security key that says show characters.

I checked google, and it shows how to install, but not uninstall trakt. from hints I got reading between the lines, your best bet is to uninstall it, then uninstall all the rest, and reinstall them. Don't forget to delete everything from your trakt account before trying to disable it.
ok...I followed Kiba's instructions and guess what...I have the correct password and have all along...the damn new Smart tv REFUSES to accept it!!!!
Is your router locked down, so it will only accept connections from specific MAC addresses? If so, that would be why the TV can't connect.
Yeah it doesn't make sense to me the computer will hook but not the box or the tv. Like I say I have everything connected with ethernet except my 2 computers and my printer and my extender but they all hooked up fine. With use of LAN cable the password is not required.
When you left click on the WiFi icon on the bottom does it show the network?

Well, u need a PW to the router or a modem? If trying the PW to the homegroup... wrong one. If you only have a router (I assume that's the case) you can call your cable company and ask them for it if all else fails.
The tech you talked to turned on the WiFi option on the SS correct. The default is off
Whether the TV is hoooked to the internet shhould make no diff

On the udder hand... if u have a kodi box, u don't need smart tv.
