I have been using the Natural Telescope/RSST now for 2 days am wondering is the KICK will help in keeping the vapour less intense, this set up rocking me too much, the Vap is too intense,i cant control the vapour,i take a 1 second puff and it hits me life 5 steam locomotives,my question is: will the KICK set at 5 Watts tone this monster down,i am serious BTW.

The vid below is what i get,the same vape, this is insane.

What is the resistance of your coil?

As Chikenbok alluded to, you can always make a higher resistance coil. More wraps and/or higher gauge wire should do the trick. You can also use a kick to regulate the voltage/power, but if you have a VV already just use that. With a higher resistance coil (> ~1.2) you don't need a mechanical and can use a regulated device.

The resistance comes in at .60 ohms using 28 ga Kant wire with 3 wraps, think ill go for 4/5 wraps but i still think ill be getting MASSIVE clouds,il try maybe 7 wraps,it should be ok for hot spots because the RSST has the insulater in the wick hole unlike the AGA,wrapping 7 coils on the AGA is a feat.

I already have the AGA/Vamo with a 1.5 ohm wrap and its wonderful,i just got the RSST/Natural too see what mech vaping was all about, its a whole new ball game.Even Phil says its too intense fo him,its not that the vape is harsh or bad flavour, its just too much damn vapour.

A .6ohm coil is going to hit like a freight train - a kick won't regulate at ohms that low (its meant for 1.8-3.0ohms). Try to aim for building around 1.0-1.2ohms and you should have a much better time. about a 3-4 wrap of 30-32 gauge kanthal should do the trick (I don't really work with 28 gauge - sacrilege, I know)

Im waiting for my guy too get some 32 ga in,its also easier too work wit a bit thinner wire, but i tell ya,this RSST tank is game changer.

^^ what he (chikenbok)said, wrap a higher resistance coil

Just curious.. have you ever used 28g? Do you know what you are missing out on?

Hahahah yeah I've used it, worked with it for a while. I'm not into anything too fun these days, I like my vapes regulated (via the PV or a kick) and I like my puffs nice and relaxing between 1.5-1.8ohms -- I use primarily 30g and it serves me damned well. I played with ZOMG coils for a while but I always felt like I was punching myself in the neck when I took a puff.

What can I say, I might look like a tattoo covered, mohawk sporting anarchist on the outside, but on the inside I'm just an old dude who likes nice calm vapes and a lack of government.

I have 3 RSSTs, all on various mechanicals. My standard set up is a 4/3 wrap with 28ga kanthal. They meter out to about .9 ohms. I'd recommend giving this set up a try.
