Im replacing mine with an ibtanked 22mm tank. I'll get a Diver at some point to toss in the D-base.

I have both the D-base and 22mm ibtanked and the D-base IMO is by far the best looking of the two. The Ibtanked works, but you have to slid it up way too far to close feed when refilling. And, if you close feed down too much to gain air flow,or just need less liquid flow, it can slid of the bottom of the adapter and leak, when trying to get it as close to the mod as possible. The 0-rings on the D-base are tight, but I find if I twist the tank on the killer first, it is easy to adjust.

Wanted to love the 22mm Ibtanked, but for now the D-base is rocking for me. If anyone finds a glass tank for the D-base, would be music to my ears...well eyes in this case...

I am loving the D-base too, they should make a 22mm one with glass tank.

That sucks you're having issues with the IBTanked. My 22mm is perfect, easy to work with for the Killer, and the look is super clean. I really like that it gives the most unobstructed view of the Killer itself, and offers a huge amount of juice capacity for the XL.

My main complaint with the D-Base is that I feel it could be much easier to get the bottom cap off. IMO it's just too hard to fill if you're out and about it at work or something like that. I'd like to be able to top it off and not make a giant mess out of things. It's also really annoying that its plastic. I had some talks with the owner of ibtanked and he thinks that the short DID replacement tanks he sells MIGHT and I stress MIGHT work. The problem is the wall thickness of that plastic tank on the D-Base, from all of my measurements it's not quite 1.2mm it's closer to 1.15 which doesn't seem like a lot but it could matter.

That being said , I do really love the look of the D-Base and will keep it around for sure. I really want to buy a Diver for it and they even back in stock today and I can't afford it :(

I'll order the ibtanked with the two tank sizes and go from there.

I ordered / am waiting on a Cartomator from Vaperfexion. Pyrex tank and ordered the air channel bottom cap and top cap with fill hole options. I'll post thoughts when it arrives.

I just ordered a Diver this morning, can't wait to give it a try.

If you hear anymore about glass for the D-tank, would be so cool....

So glad the Ibtanked is working good for you, it's a fine piece of kit and it does hold a lot. I'm certainly going to keep mine. Maybe for the Diver on a 22mm mod...and a lot of juice !

I bought some replacement ceramics on eBay - Google "alumina ce2 replacements". They ship from Greece and might be a bit cheaper than buying and taking apart clearomizers or whatever.

OMG! Thank you, thank you, thank you so much!!! I order 20 pieces, just in case. It's strange, some days I have no problems handling the ceramics and other days it feels like quantum physics.

So, just to confirm, the Diver ceramic on Atmistique is the same ceramic used in the Killer?

I don't know for certain (as I'm waiting to receive both in the mail), but from the information that I've gathered, I believe that is the case. I think that there is no standard for CE2 ceramics and that they can differ, but according to correspondence with Atmistique, the Diver has "a nest" that should work with many ceramics. I just bought a bunch that should work with both, so in perhaps 11 days I'll know first hand. I expect a forum member can definitively tell us before then.
