Now you are into my territory, I run a branch of Cats Protection in the North of England, so here is a pic of two of my kitties, Webster and Willow, from last year.

This is my 20 lb cat named Hagrid. We had to give him up last January (17 months ago) when my doc said he was causing my hives. Well, sadly I never did get better and now I just really miss my kitty.

Awwww I'm sorry you had to find another home for Hagrid.

I have a great big hairy cat as well (Norwegian Forest Cat) who's likely to hit 20-22 lbs at full growth. I would be absolutely heartbroken if I had to give him up.

LOL Cats are so dang funny! I love them

Our old boy died last year October (we were away on vacation at the time) My hubby found him in the back of a boat, in a parking lot! He was with a whole litter of kittens, all dead except two - we took both and bottle fed them, the other little kiten died. Chutney was so tiny when we first got him I would keep him in my top pocket to keep him warm between bottle feedings and potty breaks.

Here is Chutney, he wasn't too amused with the baby chickens in the house, but he put up with it.

I love what this thread has become :)

So now you get to see my girls.....and me!! LOL

This is Liadan. When she was born, she looked like a cigarette ash. Her name is Gaelic for "Gray Lady". She then shed all of her gray and now she's totally black. Her name so not fits now! But she's one of a kind and I love her so!

This is Mali. Her name is Thai (formerly Siam) for "Jasmine". She was given to me free because her owners thought she was a siamese mix. Because there were other siamese males on the premises (irresponsible owner), I think she's more full-bred then they think. Again, I don't care...I consider her a siamese rescue from those who don't know how to keep their cats contained. :) This was taken a year ago. Isn't she a beauty???
