I'm new to electric cigarettes. I ordered smoke tip but the batteries couldn't keep up with my vapeing habits and I had to charge them like 6 times the first day. After reading the forum e-cigarette guide I figured I probably need to go with a 510 since the battery lasts the longest but I'm not sure where purchase it from. Here's what I would like the place I purchase it from to have:

- A kit with a laptop operated battery. I spend a lot of time on my laptop and would like an additional battery I could just plug in and vape.
- A lanyard to carry it around my neck but a carrying case would be okay.
- Good tasting variety of flavors, especially chocolate and in 0mg of nicotine. I don't really care for regular cigarette flavor.
- Produce a lot a vapor. Out of everything to do with smoking and like blowing smoke in the air the best.
- Lifetime or some type of warranty.
- Free shipping.Would be a plus but not a huge deal.
- Prefer automatic but manual would be fine too.
- I'd like to keep it under $100.

Running a ecig from your laptop could fry you mother board..suggest you don't do that..

lifetime warrant=not gonna happen..most of this stuff comes from China and very little warranty.

Manual batteries are much better than automatic, IMHO..

I think Kgo has a auto battery that is large..check with hoosiers

to get the longest batteries look at the mah rating..go to at least 650mah..

Since you are near a computer a lot, I have the perfect solution for you. E-go pass-thru. They are available in 650maH or 1000maH, cost between $20-$24, and the best part is the battery lasts a long time on it's own, but you can plug it into your USB and continue to vape whilethe battery charges! It's so convenient it's stupid! Can be found at Kingpin, Totally-Wicked, and Madvapes.

The battery is compatible with 510 components, and I recommend 510-T atomizers and 510-T carts.

As for the juice, that's subjective. Totally-Wicked has awesome juice in tons of flavors and the nic strengths go from 0-36mg, but they are a little pricey (relative to some no-name Chinese juices).

As for lifetime warranty...you'll have to pray to St. Jude for that, because I think it's a lost cause. Most manufacturers/distributors won't offer more than maybe a 28 day warranty on any component. That's just the way the industry is.

Free shipping can be had - varies from one distributor to the next, and sometimes product to product.

Don't overlook manual batteries. They are no more complicated to use than autos, and they give you the advantage of controlling your draw time.

Hope that helps. Happy vaping! Oh yeah...and Welcome to the fray!

Welcome to the ECF DedaChan! +1 for the PT suggestion. However, save yourself a possible laptop "explosion" and get a wall adaptor for that PT. Along with the PT a good starter kit would be the KGO from Hoosier. It ships with the atomizer/ cartridge combo but I'd suggest a few packs of Boge 2.0 cartomizers to go with it. Throw a drip tip on the top and you're set. As for juice, maybe some others will suggest some but I'm not going to try and do that. Good luck!

Ego 510 Passthrough 3.7 Volt

2 amp AC to USB Adapter, ideal for Passthroughs

KGO 1100 mAh 2 battery kit

2.0 ohm low resistance cartomizers

DedaChan, I'm relatively new to the e-cig thing too. About 6 months. I have found what I like only through trial and error, but I found a pass-thru that works just fine, and is relatively cheap. $17 bucks at Madvapes, 5 volt 510 Connnection made by Smoke Tech. I like this website because I can find everything in one place. I would also go with an atomizer instead of cartomizer for the throat hit and more vapor. It's a little messier though. As far as the e-liquid goes, I have tried 6 different websites and they are all virtually the same. But I was going for more of a tobacco flavor, which is hard to find a good one. I agree with everyone else on the manual battery thing. The auto batteries can become ruined if they get too much e-liquid leaked down inside. Madvapes also has all kinds of carrying devices and the prices are some of the best in the industry. Good Luck finding what works for you.
