Koh Gen Do Wicking Video Tutorial

Treebeard mentioned how killer this cotton was while back. I started using it about a month ago and it's a game changer.

If you wick it correctly there is absolutely ZERO cotton flavor even on the first hit. So keep that in mind. If you taste any cotton when you first hit it, take it out and remove some because it's too thick.

BTW, what is that coil you used in the vid? Does the cotton wick keep up with it? Only ask because I'm having a heck of a time getting a micro down that will wick quickly enough in the RM2 now that the upgrade is complete.

It's all the same I believe. I haven't witnessed a difference in consistency

That's this coil :

It's on my VV grand. Right at 2 ohms, wrapped around a .055" mandrel.

I take roughly 3 second hits. I squonk after every hit or two. No issue keeping up whatsoever. The way I see it, the more I squonk, the better it is. Fresh

Squonking is your friend. Be one with it

Ah, I noticed in the vid you are running the same VV I have and looks like we are running the same coil too ;-). I'm so frazzled today I didn't even connect the dots and figure it wasn't a low ohm coil even though I knew it was on a VV...lol. My bad.

Hey supe, got the KGD in the vape mail today... Thanks again... Not real sure when I will get a chance to try it out, but will definitely do so. I really need to get me an RM2 on order so I have a 2nd atty to do different things with. The XC i'm using is just outstanding and personally I can't see anything taking its place. It is just so forgiving when one forgets, (doh), to squonk properly!! Cotton used to burn almost immediately after a dry hit, but XC is like the energizer bunny and keeps on crankin'....

On a different note, what sizes were the mandrels you sent me? I think the small one was 1/16" if I remember correctly. The larger one looks like its almost 1/2" compared to the other....lmfao

Russ, I just now notice your vid on KGD. Thanks for making it and for pushing folks toward true organic wicking materials. I'm a silicaphob and metal wicks don't do it for me either so for now cotton is the only wick for me and it might as well be the least detrimental one available. I truly believe KGD is the healthier( and taste neutral) choice. I have been touting KGD for a while now and think it is the best as far as cotton wicking material goes. No more bleachy flavor and no residual chemicals from pesticides and fertilizers and processing chemicals. Thanks for all you do for us.
