My favorite coconut has been Inawera Coconut, but it seems that this is one that has changed formulation with the recent changes? Has anyone tried the new version, and do you have an opinion about how it stacks up against the old version? Aside from Inawera, what is your favorite? I have TPA coconut, TPA coconut double, and still at least one unopened small bottle of old formula Inawera, but going forward, if I had to choose one coconut to rule them all, what should it be? (In your own opinion! No wrong answer!)

I'm not actually overly fond of coconut in regular food, except for some Thai and Indian savory dishes, but it turns out I *really* like it in my vapes -- and also appreciate how it adds a lovely layer of extra complexity in many recipes even when the end result tastes nothing of "coconut."

I have the TFA coconut extra I use for my Castle Long, but have not tried it on its own.

Everyone who tries my CL asks if it's Almond Joy; not sure how that works out except it might be for the coconut.

Lots of people complain that TFA's Coconut Extra tastes like suntan lotion

I love it though and don't get anything nasty from it. I guess if they've used it at 2% or 3% that would happen but I keep it below 1.5% and lately, less than 1%.

TFA Coconut Candy is pretty good too. In fact, checking my flavor stash here I have 5 different coconuts plus Chef's Lemon Coconut Cream Cake.

Inawera Coconut (don't know if I have the old or new formulation but I like it just fine - come to think of it, I don't remember seeing it on the list but I could just have forgotten)
FF Pro Coconut (really good, more like a coconut candy but different from TFA Coconut Candy)
My Fresh Lab Coconut (this is just like the Chinese brand Super Concentrated, in fact, I think they are the same company) MFL Coconut is very similar in flavor to Inawera but a bit more concentrated
    TFA Coconut Candy
    TFA Coconut Extra

All these coconuts have a place in certain recipes I make. None are bad in my opinion.

But... taste is so subjective and fickle :p

As much as I like & use coconut in mixes, I probably should have tried lots of different coconut flavorings, yet I only have two. I use Coconut Candy (TFA) and/or Coconut (FA) singly or together & have had great results. A 3/1 TFA/FA ratio works well, for me when combining them. I did just purchase & mix a tester of Wonder Flavors Coconut Custard SC that I have high hopes for. Time will tell... :D

    choose one coconut
I have only TFA Coconut and like the flavor. I feel that some flavors produce more vaper(mix and single) than others, TFA Coconut is one of them. I check out and compared other coconuts but TFA holds it own comparatively to other brands in written reviews (3.5/5 vs 4/5 stars max.).
