Korean copy of GGT (transformer)

cypress is more than right on his post Siam. But even if he was wrong, is this a reason for someone to make direct copies of a product? When did you see me doing that?
Because other people copy parts or the whole design of GG series is an excuse for other people to do the same? Are people like the copier serious when they say that their product is better than the original when its a direct copy? Maybe this copier thinks that all people around the world are blind or silly and he is the only clever person in the world? i am very impressed that you want to defend a person like this.

FYI: Asians invented E-cigs not Greeks or Americans so without "Asians" there would be no industry. By the way I am an American not an Asian. Also Korean products are known for high quality such as the popular Samsung phones.

Siam, my beef is not with Asians. We have 2 adopted babies in our family and they are a part of us.
This is my niece, Giulia the day we brought here home.

My problem is with people that copy for a profit. If the copier was Russian or English, my anger would be the same.
Remember that bad things happen when good people do nothing. Like Imeo said above, the thief is always to blame, not the homeowner for leaving the door open
All my TV's (4), our fridge and our computers (2), are all Samsung by the way. I was not refereing to legit Asian quality either, only the fact that copyright infringement and zero intellectual property respect is the norm over there. That my friend is wrong. Stealing is stealing whether its done with a gun or a camera and governments that allow that are just as guilty.

The children were orphans by the way and the un-named Asian Government only charged us $70k US for 2, we got a discount of $10k so we would adopt 2 of them! Babies that were rotting away, poorly fed and inventoried in unheated filthy rooms are a business for them you see

This is the sort of people you deal with when you buy non original product. I am inserting these comments with Imeo's approval. Once again, this has nothing what so ever to do with Asians so please don't pull the race card. This has to do with stealing IP.

Great so there will copies and ...hahaha they don't know how hard it is to make something with class. This is actually going to make the GG even more popular. It's like free advertising as they buy one and whilst the problems start they encounter a real GG and whoa and behold they see the ultimate GG and OUCH !! but they try and convince themselves they still have a good mod but deep down the ultimate satisfaction has been burned with that vision. The GG pictures everyone has will haunt them.

This makes me even more proud of owning the real macoy. Make good from bad always.

I have people rip off my ideas all the time. I'm a creator so I create. Some are copiers and they very well may make money but I insist on a thank you from them at least. Then I introduce them to the Think Bank. It's a tall visionary building full of ideas that people have already done and of course when you first start off you will visit this Bank and take what suits you but you must put in to take out.
Can't just take,take,take and expect satisfaction. It just doesn't work like that.

Anyway yes the problems that are ahead are always going to be painful for copiers. Customers come before anything with your heart and this is a vital ingredient that needs to be embedded naturally.

You can't steal that from the Think Bank.

Kind of reminds me of the cheap, plastic or leatherette Coach or Kate Spade bags that you can buy. At least those reseller/copiers have the decency to let the reduced price reflect the lesser quality of the materials. Doesn't seem to be the case with these.

thats exactly what I say Huff. Admit that you are a copier and you may have some customers. But trying to convince people that they dont see well and they are all of them crazy, thats something that will leave those people without even one customer

Some philippine guys made a direct copy of GGTS (exept connector, maybe it was too dificult for them ). The best thing is that they were saying to potensial philippine customers that their GG rip off smoked better than GGTS. And noone told them that a mod that is a direct copy of another mod cant vape better than the original for the obvious reason that they are the same!. Its like we say that my GG vapes better than your GG! Thats silly but people still believed them.

Anyone can make a copy of GG series. The reason is that I made e-cigs so simple and easy for the customer. I made it in a way that noone needs to send me back his unit for repair. I was just sending the customer only the faulty parts and he could fix it by himself. Other modders fooled me for that.
When I first made GG 3,5 years ago many people fooled me that my e-cig had no wires, no electronics on it, it had bolts and threads etc. Now all mods are like this.

Its a little dificult to be the first one that makes something. All people are against you until they realise what you did. Then they start copying you as usual.

Yes they do hit a nerve, I'm talking about when I have stayed awake thinking of fresh ideas and conditioning my mind to be creative and viola I think of a great idea for a show. Then I have to go through all the painful experiences of audiences looking at me with a " I don't get it " look and eventually after 30 or so performances I nail it and for me it's a celebration and others compliment me and I then feel like that was the first stepping stone. It worked...then the fun part starts as you twiddle with it and make it perfect up to a point where people ask " how on earth did you come up with that idea?" and then one day be watching you tube to see some (insert worst name possible) has copied it and done a really bodge job of it and they are getting praised and getting gigs from it. Ouch, yes it's a annoying.

But they have ALL dropped the idea eventually or twisted it into something else that is now their own. All one needs is to admit that you was their inspiration and all is well. It's when I confront them and they deny ever seeing my show which is cleeaaarrllly bull.... lol.. I always say when someone has inspired me and I thank them and promise that one day I'll help them hopefully. But creators can do this. So many generic copiers which is all well but when you copy from the creme de la creme then everyone will pounce. Thats why you have nothing to worry about. Your customers will always give them a stab in the back. They'll be tormented for ever with this product until they make it their own way.

Anyway off to work.. lol, didn't expect to having this chat this morning. Hey check out my little link. You'll see what I mean about my show. I really try and keep everything original.

Siam, there is no reason to argue with Steve. Steve was right about this. Maybe he was a little rough with his answer but he is still right. Also this thread is putted on the right place.
And of course its not my fault that someone makes copies. For example, its not owner's fault that he leaves open his house. Its thief's fault that goes to steal the house. We usually say that its owner's fault just because we know that bad people are around. But the reality is that its thief's fault always. The owner doesnt harm anyone, but thief does.

If you still want to buy this copy then you are free to do it. But please put yourself to my position and to GG users's position and you will understand.

Don't take me the wrong way. The GG's look like phenomenal products which are made to very high standards. I would love to get hands on one but it does get frustration with the constant out of stock and long waiting lists and the dealers taking advantage of that to sell them at very high prices.
