I have been trying this liquid made with all PG and I wasn't feeling so well so I got some VG and vaped it straight with no flavoring for a while and noticed I wasn't feeling so groggy.
I have decided to go all VG but my question is will using all VG may wear my cartos down faster?
I think I read it somewhere but can't find it again for the life of me.
Actually I just found it and it may wear them down faster but what if I thin it out a little with some distilled water?
Even the guy from Wizard Labs I spoke to said I could use a few drops of distilled water to thin it up some but I"m wondering if this help the lifespan any.

Also curious is vertical cartos and horizontal cartos have that big of a difference....I have both.
I have no clue what the resistance levels are or what ohm rating they have. I need to find out which ones to get for my kit to get the best usage out of them. They have low resistance and just regular ones on the site but the regular cartos have no mention of how many ohms they are. I think low resistance are just for bigger batteries right?
Here is a kit I have: KR808D-1 Automatic Starter Kit
here is the 5 cartos they sent me: KR808D-1 PREMIUM Blank Soft Cap Cartomizers support said they were vertical coil.
Here is their regular cartos: KR808D-1 Black Blank Cartomizers
All the others I have are horizontal, I have 12 of these. 6 of them are hard capped and came with a kit that sent to me by mistake which is the manual KR808D-1(seen here). It had pre-filled Marlboro cartos and I cleaned them out.
The other 5 came with the automatic kit(that I was originally suppose to get) yet I don't know the makers of them. I wish this site gave more details but they see to be a lot better quality than the hard capped ones. The ".... plugs" are different and the intake hole seems smaller and the filling looks more like cotton than polyfill. It vapes real good but I wish I know more about it. I
They don't give you much details on that site but their cartos sure are cheap.

I'm just trying to get a better understanding of things.
Thanks for your help

Where you least expect it....
High VG percentaged e-liquid can kill your cartomizer a bit faster compared to PG based e-liquids. Using distilled water to thin it out a bit is a good way of doing it. You should check the DIY e-liquid section for more information. A 60/40 blend should work well with cartomizers.

Vertical coiled cartomizers have the coil/wick located in the middle of the cartomizer. While horizontal coiled cartomizers have them located at the bottom.

With horizontal coiled cartomizers, they can utilize more of the e-liquid that's being put into them. Filler material is a bit more loosely wrapped.

IMO vertical coiled cartomizers tend to perform better. In addition, the filler material is a bit tighter compared to horizontals. Although, you can judge for yourself on performance since you have both.

As for the ohms of your cartomizers. They are 2.8-3 ohms since that's what they usually include with KR808D starter kits. Which usually include horizontal coiled cartomizers. However, as you've seen there are some vendors that include vertical coiled cartomizers.

Yes, LR is usually intended to be used with bigger batteries. Such as ego's since they are usually 2 ohms unless they give an indication that it's lower ohms. Just use what came with your kit and you should be fine. Unless, you have a backup and want to experiment.

A lot of cartomizers come fom the same manufacturer. They're just re-labeled and sold by different distributors. Shouldn't be any differences in quality.

With batteries that aren't sealed. You should make sure that you don't over fill your cartomizer. If a tiny bit of e-liquid were to enter the hole in the connection pin. Then that can mean the end of your battery. So, after you initially filled it, blow out any access e-liquid.

Standard sized cartomizers usually take 25 drops/1ml. Let it sit for about a half an hour before use to make sure the filler material is fully saturated.

by 60/40 blend do you mean PG and VG? cause I won't use PG at all, it doesn't agree with me.
I plan on saving up some money and getting an usb Ego and a genesis style tank and just keep rebuilding it and just use this KR808 kit for when I'm on the go or just have many cartos with different flavors.
I've got the juice making pretty down but the juice just isn't lasting long as I hoped or maybe it's just where I vape so much on the peach juice I made. It's my all day vape but I'm only hitting it maybe like 50 times yet I'm taking some pretty big hits lol.
I wish the KR808 clearomizer was rebuildable.

Btw there is a difference in these cartos. The premiums are made by Dekang I think. The box says "Dekang inside" on the side. The soft capped horizontals are Kanger Tech and the hard capped ones have a smaller intake hole and everything but came with a Kanger Tech manual KR808 kit and they have a bigger intake hole and different condom carto sleeves.

kinda a different question but I don't want to start a new thread. Can you use straight VG juices with genesis type atomizers?

Thanks for all your help

Apologize about that, made a mistake and should've used a better example. You could always make a bigger batch of e-liquid if it's not lasting as long as you had anticipated.

You probably have pre-filled cartomizers since Dekang is a Chinese E-Liquid manufacturer. All of your cartomizers should be made from Kanger Tech. They make pretty good cartomizers. Some say they are the best. As with anything e-cig related. It's all about personal preference.

Absolutely, you can use 100% VG e-liquid with genesis type atomizers. You should probably use either 500 mesh or if your using 400 mesh. Then you should make the wick a bit thicker (50-60mm). That should solve any wicking issues.

Teah hey was prefilled with Marlboro flavored liquid but I sucked it all out then boiled them so I can use them for whatever juice I wanted. They don't look very good quality. Nor was the Dekang ejuice I bought that was suppose to be cool menthol but it was super intense. I had to dilute it a good bit to tolerate it and I have been smoking menthol cigs for like 10 years.
I think I will be staying away from Dekang from now on. The premium cartos that are Dekang aren't any better than the regular cartos from Kanger.
Is Dekang known for lesser quality stuff?
