How long have you had them, firefly13? There has been alot of changes and at the very least you are a generation behind what I am using.
I feel from a user stand point, after using both of the above-mentioned standard 808 cartos that these (in the final generation) are close enough to be called "ready." I have not had one go out, not one fail in anyway. 10 days and counting. Now, these take some maintenance... . dry burning and such but of the 5 open (all with different flavors) all are going strong. I gave a single one to my bro-in-law and he has vaped on it all ten days, 3 mls a day. He dry burns about every two days. That means 1.23 / 10 = 12 cents a day (and getting cheaper). I can't see a day when a standard carto would cost that, sorry.
I've had all 3 revisions so far and 4th revision on the way to me, it's not how they last that isn't ready about them, they just can't take a beating at all with consistent vaping or anything over 3.7v, and even on regular batteries they taste burnt sometimes it drives me crazy, i have 2 different version of each too, the 3 ohm version and lower. They just don't work well enough yet and filling them is a pain in the ...., i prefer poppin off the cap and refilling in 30 seconds like regular cartos, not messing with syringes and stuff for mediocre performance, i can see how light vapers think they're alright as they are, but if they don't pass my own tests then i won't sell them to anybody, that's also the same conclusion the big vendors have too, they're waiting on improvements also. They work best with Dekang juice which is mostly what i'm using, anything thicker than about 20% VG they really don't like with me.
