I cleaned mine by running hot tap water through and blowing it out.I repeated it about 5 or 6 times. They work fine after cleaning.Just make sure they are very dry.

Same here Iken, the only things do different is after I do the above, I heat a coffee cup of water to ALMOST a boil and drop the carto on batt end first, amazing how much juice is stiil in there. Then I blow and let dry for 24 hrs.

I have done the above with 100's of cartos.

This is GREAT news guys!
As you all know I'm constantly working with engineers on making new products. While the manufactures' run their tests on these developments, We also like to run our tests to ensure an IkenVape standard. This last Beta test we had a few people that really stood out and went above and beyond in extensive knowledgeable posts which described all of the of the positive's and negatives of these products.

I would like to invite:

To make a comeback to test yet another future product that we have created.
We all really got to see your characters shine as well as your vaping habits being so different from each other. You three really stayed on top of this and took it very seriously in terms of being very informational and professional. Another perk is that you three already have all equipment for just about everything. I do, really hope that you guys would want to make a return to the Testing table as seeing your in-depth analysis's be proven thoroughly and honestly.
I would like to have 5 Beta testers for future and upcoming products. I would be honored if the three above mentioned names would act as a constant in our Beta testing. This would leave 2 spaces for anyone else who can meet the mention criteria below.

-Devices that range in voltage from 3.4-6.0V
-Ability to adapt with the mentioned voltages of 901,510,801,306,KR808
-Committed to leaving feedback, whether positive or negative
-Preferably own a Volt meter
- 6 months of vaping experience is preferred

I can't believe these cartos, I love them. I got 60 drops in it and the taste and vapor is great. I'll be vaping on this for awhile. Thanks Iken and like Arnold say's " I'LL BE BACK". Oh and with 11 pvs and 2 of them go from 3 to 6 volts and 1 goes from 1.2 to 11.9 (never vaped that high) plus many fixed volt mods and pv I would be interested in testing. I meet all the other criteria too. The only thing I would need to get is 306 things I have all the others.

I just went through all my equipment to make sure I have everything needed and I do! :)

I just lost one of my test cartos, no it did not die, hubs just got home from chasing Bambie's Father around the woods (Bambie's Father won) and he took one of my cartos...he is loving it, said it would have been perfect for his bow hunting weekend.

I am still amazed that it has been 10 days and no burn yet, I do plan on taking the one hubs is using apart after a few days, he vapes at 5v always and he is HARD on catros, so I want to see how it held up.

For me, I am sold these have faired better than any 808 carto that I have used, by now I would have tossed any other cartos and been happy that I got that much use out of them.

In order to save folks some autopsy time, I took some time to dissect a carto.

When we look at the pic, we find the coil as with most cartos somewhere in the middle of the batting on it's side. Something that is different is that the fiberglass tube has an oblong hole cut into it to permit the wick to come into contact with the batting.

We can see some discolouration occuring here, but no burning as such. Mind you this carto did not last very long at HV, so the jury is still out. It would be interesting to see an autopsy on one that has been used for extended time at HV. This is the carto that popped at 6V and contained the RY4.

I use these on high voltage too. I'm amazed at the flavor and vapor. I've been going strong on it since last night and the vapor, throat hit, and taste are the same as when I started. So far I like these better than my e2s.

After vaping on these for near a week, the atty is seasoning nice. So I decided to give 5V another whirl once again. Although not as flavourful as 3.7V, it is not as harsh as when fired brand new. They are definitely not designed IMO for 6V vaping but can be suited for 5V vaping.

TH 4
VP 5
Fl 2.5/3

Output from my box mod clocks in at 4.6V which represents 7 watts at the atty. At 6V with 5.5V under load it is still way to harsh with 10 watts available at the atty and a faint burnt taste can be detected.

As I do not wash out my cartos, I will ride this one for as long as it lasts :) Then I may give it a wash, to see if it is rejuvinateable.

I vape around 5 volts, usually four point something, and haven't found anything I could vape at 6 volts without it tasting burnt. I don't know how those 6volt vapers do it. :):):)
By the way great pics of the inside of one.

Hubs is saying the same thing, better flavor with these on the 5V than with the E2 cartos.
Also at 5v we were getting a funky taste with the E2's and with other 808 cartos that we are not getting with these.

Edit: I mean the one I am using will beat yours, I will not include hubs because anything he touches is used and abused except me.:)

I'll take a piece of that action if your booking bets.
I also really like them black end caps. I hope I'm not doing wrong posting in this thread beings I'm not an official tester. I just was commenting on them and didn't want to start a new thread. If I'm wrong please let me know and I'll quit posting in this thread.

Are you referring specifically to cartos or are you referring to atties as well? The reason why I ask is because Isaac's 3.5 ohm SLB510 atty is just pure bliss at 6V.
